Ectopic beats
Hi everyone, does anybody else have ectopic beats constantly through out the day and night. My heart will beat fast then calm down then I have a pause and thud about five times then it goes back to normal. It's horrible and makes me so anxious I start to panick. Iv had ecg and echocardiogram and they

Mobitz Type II Heart Block
(New here, Oct 2019) I am not seeking advice, but thought this might be of interest to anyone with the same diagnosis, which does not seem common on this site. I was found to have high blood pressure in 2015, after many years without visiting the GP surgery. This was treated with Ramipril, requiring

Time to think outside the box.
Countless thousands have felt exactly as you do. Countless thousands have recovered their quiet mind. And so will you. Your nervous system is responding perfectly normally to what you are subjecting it to. Anxiety overload. It has put up with so much for so long and now it's complaining. Fear of fear

3rd Ablation/3month follow-up
Well I just had my 3 month follow-up after my 3rd ablation. My 2nd ended up with a cardiac tamponade and atrial tachycardia requiring another ablation. I have had no episodes of tachycardia or afib since my 3rd ablation on July 19th. I have been doing my usual exercise routine for 2months and feel fantastic

Pain gone pen
Has anyone tried the pain gone TENS pen? I’ve seen them advertised with great reviews and I wonder how much is advertising and how much is genuine.

ABLATION RECOVERY?
For those that have not followed my posts, I had an ablation in February which was partly successful as all the Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia could not be totally ablated. After a slow recovery I am now generally better than ever with only a few "minor" ectopics most days and only on 1.25 of Bisoprolol

Pubus pain & clitoral pain - help? Any tips.
It almost feels like muscle or ligament tension, or
nerve
problems (it was brought on actually by a genitofemoral
nerve
block
). The clitoral pain is also bad and was amplified by the same block. I do use hot water bottle at night and during day I do ice, but nothing is working.

Apixaban double-edged sword?
Any comments please on whether I should be taking Apixaban after AF ablation? I had a successful PVI Cryoablation in August 2018 which has fixed my PAF for the time being. In preparation for ablation, the EP put me on 2x5mg Apixaban in place of the soluble aspirin I had been taking. At my 1 year check-up

Unbearable pain
Hi guys, I had a lap to diagnose and ablate endo in August, got my follow up in a couple of weeks where I am going to insist I get referred to a specialist endo centre for excision, as I've had barely any relief from surgery. The last few days my pain is getting to an unbearable level. I've considered

Atrial Tachycardia or SVT post ablation for AF
I recently had my 3 month check up following a PVI ablation for paroxysmal AF and at the time things were OK. Less than a week after the review I had either Atrial Tachycardia or SVC . It lasted for a few minutes, then a few minutes later another one which lasted for about an hour. A week later I had

Apple Watch ECG
It’s been a long wait for my referral at Glenfield but only 4 more weeks to go. I took on the advise from others about seeking a private consultation to then go back into the NHS but even that route was a struggle to get any response. Looking forward to getting answers on what my irregular rhythm is

Pain in ankles and lower legs
I stated to have aching and numbness in ankles and legs once I started on Apixaban. Cardiologist changed my anticoagulant to Riveroxaban. I still have the same problem. Does anybody else find this?

Anticoagulants cause back pain?
I've been doing a lot of research on whether anticoagulants can cause back pain. What I've found is that if you look hard enough, any drug can be reported to cause any side effects. So, realistically, I'm asking those who have experience with anticoagulants. I've been on apixaban for approximately 2

The question about broken toes and Apixaban...
Thank you all for your helpful responses. My question was really intended to establish the possible effects of anti coagulation medication in the healing process. I am continuing to take my pills, I am in no rush to have a stroke😊. It seems that none of you have had a problem and that therefore it

After 6 months
Last night was the first time since my ablation on April 1 that I have felt af. It lasted about 1/2 an hour and went away I’ll call my cardiologist today as I am no longer on a blood thinner. I am only on a dose of metoprolol. Will see what his input is Hopefully it is a one time occurrence.

3 month post Ablation. EP say to stop taking apixaban.
Morning All. I went for my 3 month post Ablation check yesterday at LGI. I have done really well, so far, no AF and, apart for tiredness, seem to be recovering well. I have been advised to now stop taking my apixaban, as, I was told, I was in more danger of bleeding than having a stroke. I am 50 years
