(New here, Oct 2019) I am not seeking advice, but thought this might be of interest to anyone with the same diagnosis, which does not seem common on this site. I was found to have high blood pressure in 2015, after many years without visiting the GP surgery. This was treated with Ramipril, requiring an annual medication review. At the 2018 review, the nurse noticed what she described as an 'irregularly irregular' pulse. This was at first thought to be 'Wenkebach' but after a number of tests was found to be 'Mobitz Type II', which I was told can lead to a more serious type of heart block. I was fitted with a pacemaker in May 2019. Although I did not have any symptoms such as dizzy spells before having the pacemaker, I do feel generally better and less tired now.

Mobitz Type II Heart Block
Looks like the medical staff treating your condition are on top of things. Does the pacemaker limit what you can do physically ? Or are you no w as good as new.
Thanks for responding to my post. The only limit I was told about applied just after the pacemaker was fitted - for six weeks I had to avoid raising my left arm above shoulder height, avoid lifting, and wasn't allowed to drive. They then said 'be sensible' about lifting, so I still wouldn't lift anything really heavy. Otherwise there is no problem - I'm only aware of the pacemaker because I can feel it just below the skin near my left collar bone. I didn't have any light-headedness or similar symptoms before it was fitted, but looking back I think I was getting tired quickly. I gather there is a third stage of heart block which can be dangerous (possibility of passing out), which is what the doctors wanted to avoid. So, in short I feel fine, thanks.
