Atrial tachycardia
I was initially diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. However, when I went for an ablation and was seen by the EP he decided it wasn’t AF but atrial tachycardia. Apparently symptom are almost adenoidal and I’m on similar meds to all those with AF My problem is, there doesn’t seem to be anyone else here

Tens 10 machine for neuropathy
Just wondering if a tens machine has helped anyone for neuropathy as a alternative treatment. It seems to help me, but it would be good to get some feed back from people who use it as a treatment for there issues.

Shingles twice followed by viral meningitis
Hi I had shingles twice which my GP treated really quickly so feel I got off lightly. I then got VM. I have suffered with neuropathic pain ever since along with some really odd sensations too. The symptoms have improved but not gone altogether, it has taken over 6 years. I have now been diagnosed with

Decision 100% made... (I think !!) 🙃
Hi everyone ☺️ Well the last few months have been awful, mentally and physically. But on a more positive note I've made some decisions ( I think)!! Will be as brief as poss. After a few years of going crazy thinking it's all in my mind with weird beats and dizziness, I now have a diagnosis of Complex

How arrhythmia feels like?
I’ve been experiencing daily bradycardia for a while now, I’d occasionally feel it with palpitations and have skipped beats, my primary doctor did an electro but couldn’t find anything, I’m not an active person, I don’t feel like my heart should be beating like that, so how do I know it’s arrhythmia

Antibiotics
I had a tetanus jab and a course of antibiotics, 500mg 3 times a day. Which finished 17th September. I'm still experiencing wrist and hand pain, feeling fatigued also having muscular aches and pains in feet, knees and ankles. I have ordered a medichecks blood test and wonder should there be a gap

How do you cope w ith being told you have PAF along with your other cardiac problems
Having had AVRT for over 35 years controlled by drugs my tachycardia has now broken through the meds. Zio monitor has now shown PAF and Troponin is elevated. Started on Apixaban last week but have had to stop it as it totally wiped me out. How does one cope with all this without stressing oneself

Has anyone heard of this?
Has anyone heard of something called BioWaveGo or a Dr Dominic Hegarty? https://biowavego.co.uk/blog/an-interview-with-dr-dominic-hegarty/ Found the article online earlier when I was looking for something else. Looks like a TENS machine but I’d be interested to see what the rest of you think.

TENS machines
My husband has RA and suffers from frequent joint pain in his knees, back and sometimes hips. I've heard that tens type machines can be useful to relieve this pain and wondered if anyone had any success with such treatment or has any recommendations for the kind of thing that might be effective? Any

Elevated heart rate.
Morning all. I have noticed my heart rate running quite fast even during the night. This is a new one for me. I was diagnosed a fib in Jan and take Verapimil and Apixaban. My question is should I try and talk to my gp (if I can) or battle on. Waiting for CV but now just getting a call in Oct. Many thanks

Shingles after the Pfizer vaccine?
Has anyone developed shingles after getting the Covid 19 vaccine? I had the Pfizer shot in March and I came down with shingles in September. I started researching and there are some studies showing that shingles could be a side effect. Just curious if anyone else has had shingles in the last 6 months

Vagal Nerve stimulation
Has anyone explored ways of stimulating the vagal nerve as a way of preventing AF as seems to be responsible for possibly the majority of Afib triggers? Wouldn't it be great if just like a pacemaker we could have a vagal nerve implant to give it a jolt when it's thinking of doing it's dirty work!!!

Fast heartrate not a symptom of being undermedicated.
Just spoke to doctor and he says if your undermedicated, it will cause bradycardia NOT tachycardia and having read replies to my previous posts, this appears to be untrue. I'm just so frustrated and angry having to deal with doctors who don't know what they're talking about, God help us all!!!
