Pelvic pain
Hi this is my second round of cancer had APR in 2018, removal of my rectum and permanent colostomy. In 2020 had secondary cancer which decided to wrap its self around the nerves in front of my sacrum, so was given chemo and radio therapy, this did the trick and tumour disappeared and I'm on 3 monthly

Meningitis
I’m scared I have meningitis, I’ve had a bad headache on and off for 2 days, and a tiny fever I think I feel hot anyway and a rash on my neck, I’ve tried the glass test and I’m unsure on whether it goes or not it looks paler than what it was but still red I’m just scared :(

Tachycardia and PACS 14 months post ablation.
Hi, I have had a good run of 14 months post-ablation for PAF, now I am starting to have frequent bouts of tachycardia and PACS, my EP has told me to take 2.5mg nebivolol and 150mg flecainide when necessary, (he is not aware of recent frequency) as these are becoming more frequent I am wondering if I

London NHS recommendations for treating arrhythmias
I have just moved to London & have ongoing heart arrhythmias that I’d like medical advice on. I wondered I’d anyone could kindly give me advice on the best NHS centre to be referred to in London? I was diagnosed with paroxysmal long RP atrial tachycardia in 2019 and I’m now 53 years old. I am currently

Managing flare up advice needed, struggling to cope!
Just wondering how people cope when their pain flares up? Do people have some kind of management plan to deal with them? I’m yet to be formally diagnosed and am awaiting Diagnostic Laparoscopy. I’m getting increasing frequency of pain flares in my pelvis, hips, low back and upper legs, they’re excruciating

So Worried - update
We’ll, he’s still in hospital; they’ve tried various drugs unsuccessfully to bring the HR down. They’re planning a cardioversion today - bit anxious about it because he missed a dose of apixaban on Tuesday in all the kerfuffle of going into hospital! 🤞🤞it all goes ok and does the trick!

Importance of Blood Testing

Tapering while suffering with shingles?
Was recently hospitalized for asthma in October and put on mega doses of steroids. When I came down to 12 1/2 I parked. I started to reduce a half a milligram and now at 12. Just came down with the most wicked form of shingles. I went to the hospital in an ambulance! It was so painful I couldn’t even

Hi I’m new, does anyone suffer from really low heart rate when not in AF?
I have been having AF off and on for the last three years. Over this last year it has increased in frequency. I am having it at least once a week, it usually lasts between 2 to 4 hours.I usually auto convert on my own, thank god.I have an iwatch which has been really helpful in keeping tabs on my EKG
