Do any of you suffer from painful joints and muscle aches while taking apixaban and bisoprolol?

Joint pain while on Apixaban
Trixie, YES, terrible new joint pain for almost 2 years now just since beginning Apixiban… NEVER had joint pain until about a month after starting apixiban.. i do not take bisoprol. Has changed my life; am contemplating the Watchman device so I can stop apixiban. Has anyone had any experience with getting the Watchman? I am in USA. I feel so much older so quickly…. Am 75 but felt 50 prior to taking apixiban.
I take both, no problems with aches or pains.
hi i am 64 and play football and a few other sports when i went on apixaban like you muscle and old injuries give me grief i have learned to live with them if i stopped the apixaban it could be alot worse then joint pain
1.25mg bisoprolol gave me chest and arm pain which I thought was muscular.
I was in Bisoprolol for a couple of years and experienced the most excruciating leg pains until I came off it.
Interesting comments. I have joint pain in some specific joints. I put this down to kicking too many foot and rugby balls. Or damage caused by other sports injuries and not Apixaban. There may be a danger in conflating wear and tear with Apixaban. Just a thought.
yes mine are foot pain kicking a football
Yes and I am pretty sure it is the Apixaban as it improves when taken off for ops. Last year I was off for nearly 10 days with lovenox bridging and am off at the moment for 2nd hip op. But my shoulder pain is improved a bit. I take a low dose of Nebivolol now but when Bisoprolol 5mg I had awful pains in my legs not just my joints but muscles even worse.
My feet (joints at the base of my toes and ankles) were very stiff and sore while I was on apixaban for 3 months following ablation. Once off the apixaban, my feet got better over the course of a couple weeks.
This is really interesting as I've been suffering with achillies pain since being on apixaban. I havent had an injury from running in a long time and now all of a sudden I have what seems like achillies tendonitis . It's a possibility I picked it up from just running but seems to have coincided with the apixaban for sure! Interesting, maybe the medication made me more susceptible to injury?
Right. I didn’t mention but I also had achilles bursitis (not your tendonitis)—back of heal was swollen and painful for several weeks from the aggravated bursa (the cushion between achilles and heal bone). Went away after I got off apixaban.
