Muscle Relaxers?
So I think we established that NSAIDs we’re no-gos, with Naproxen the least objectionable and codeine as a possibility for strong pain relief, and paracetamol/acetaminophen for regular pain relief. How about muscle relaxants? Are there any that are safe with Afib? Thanks so much!

running out of options
hearts been tight since Feb 23rd. Been to A&E three times. Nothing but codeine and naproxen. gp didn’t take my blood pressure or listen to my heart. Just shrugged me off Work GP (doctor care anywhere) recommended diazepam. he concluded it could be coronary muscle spasm. Nobody will sign off on it

So many questions ??
I am 71 years old, weigh 8 stone, generally fit and healthy. I have probably had RLS for many years causing the occasional sleepless night or restless evening in the chair. I had my first prolonged nighttime episode last November which lasted a few nights. Nothing since except tingling in my left leg

New to PMR and hopefully its on its way out!
I started suffering bad neck stiffness and then back and eventually hip stiffness about 6 weeks ago (early March 2023). I'm 56 and a very keen cyclist (normally 8-12 hours of cycling a week), and so am not used to feeling like an invalid! I find cycling OK, although my legs feel very heavy, but walking

Mentally distressing Chronic coughing. Surgery solution??
Hi Community I posted a couple of months ago and thanks to members got to the root of my chronic coughing - it was linked to acid reflux (which was not spotted by doctors) Update - consultant says I have a small hernia. Omeprazole and RLS
I’ve had worsening RLS for a while and recently realised that my Omeprazole could be a causative factor- I take 10mg daily. I’ve been reading about long term effects of Omeprazole and learned that it can cause lowering of magnesium levels. I’d like to try coming off Omeprazole but wonder how long I’
