So I think we established that NSAIDs we’re no-gos, with Naproxen the least objectionable and codeine as a possibility for strong pain relief, and paracetamol/acetaminophen for regular pain relief.

How about muscle relaxants? Are there any that are safe with Afib?

Thanks so much!

My vote is topical Magnesium oil. Works for me and/or Arnica gel.

I thought muscle relaxants only worked on smooth muscle like the bowel. That's all I've ever been given them for and they didn't help at all.

I take Diazapam at night for occasional sciatica and find it both effective and AF safe.
