Help!

I am currently really struggling with my endo symptoms and at a total loss for what to do. I am under John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and was advised to call them between appointments if I was struggling, which I have done, just told be fobbed off being told I have an appointment in august, which doesn’t help me now. I can’t work, I can’t leave the house.. I can’t live like this! My GP doesn’t know how to help, and the only other suggestion I get is A&E which is a waste of everyone’s time. The only thing I can think is to see a specialist privately, but I don’t even know where to start to find the right one. Does anyone have any insights or thoughts? Will this get better? I can’t take it :( - as a background I had surgery august 2021 and currently have the merina coil and take two of the pill to try and manage symptoms. I take co-codamol, naproxen and two types of anti-sickness tablets as needed. I am having zoladex pushed on me, so any insight into that would also be really helpful because I’m worried it’ll bring more different issues of its own.

Hello 🙂

On bsge.org.uk web site you can find endometriosis centres near you. I believe your GP can refer you or maybe you can go private without waiting.

I am with NHS hospital for my treatments but I have been offered a referral to Endo centre in Stoke. Unfortunately I can’t travel so far for appointments 😟

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing so much pain. The GP’s aren’t much good in dealing with things I’ve found. I spoke to mine about how to go private and she told me of clinics near me, you can get them to write you a letter to take but it’s not essential.

Hi - I took Zoladex with tiblerone for around 3 months and sadly wasn’t for me due to other health issue that I had at the time and had to come off it as was unsure if it was zoladex was effecting the other problems. (Migraines) The first month on it was awful for endo pain and horrendously heavy period but after that I was period free and endo pain free until it wore off. So maybe worth a try?

Hey, maybe try a holistic doctor- I like Vivana Natural Health. She finds the root cause of a problem
