What to do about ulnar pain - C6 root damage?
Since starting my 4th immunesuppresant,
Mycophenolate
, 10 months, I've been cheered to find that the knuckle pain in my pinky and index finger knuckles has gone. But suddenly I've started getting a stabbing pain right in the wrist and it's tender if I squeeze it gently.

In addition to hydroxy and gabapentin I'm now on
Mycophenolate
. I've also previously had a weak positive in June 16 for myositis. Can anyone help what exactly I could be treated for? Can myositis be a symptom of SLE? Does anyone have any similar experiences and been on

Advice on Mycophenolate pls
She's increased my gabapentin for my tremors although said it wasnt related to autoimmune diseases and went through the side effects of
Mycophenolate
- doesn't sound great. However if I want my health to improve I'll try anything.

azathioprine or mycophenolate?
Someone with knowledge of lung diseases thought
mycophenolate
was more use/more recently favoured, as a treatment. Does anyone take either of these? Just wondering what you think? I read an article that said the second one 'improves lung function'.

Hi MicBel here, just checking-in
Recently, with lower doses of prednisone, & the higher doses of
mycophenolate
I feel so much better. I had pneumonia a few times since the beginning- still hard to breath- Not on the transplant list as yet,- tying to stay as positive as I can to carry on with what is left.

Mycophenolate
I've been put on
mycophenolate
(Cellcept) to suppress my immune system. Is anyone else on this and does anyone know if I will have to take this for the rest of my life? I've also been put on Prednisolone with many other meds as well!! It was all a big shock for me!

leflunomide or mycophenolate
So she want me to go up to 9 or 10mgs of preds and want to put me on leflunomide or
mycophenolate
- she says the diagnosis of GCA seems correct but is unsure if I have inflammatory arthritis and/or PMR so the above meds may help on that level too. Any idea which is better?

mycophenolate- skin
It's very sad to say because I feel I am being superficial. However, my sister being the most humble and kindest person I know has had lupus for about 6 years. We both have light skin, we are twins and now her whole body is black. The strange thing is that the doctors don't say anything and don't care

Mycophenolate Questions
Am now on the maximum dose of
mycophenolate
2000g - seem to be ok - just a bit tired - on my 5th week, noticed small changed in skin. Am assuming it will take a good few months for it to kick in!

GI problems with Sjögren's - how to cope?
I have been blaming the increased dose of
Mycophenolate
for the worsening nausea and tummy pain but find it's eased a lot now I've dropped Senna from the menu. I seem unable to progress my GI problems into a gastro referral.
