I take Hydroxychloroquine,
Mycophenolate
and fairly low dose of Amitriptylene. I suspected the Ami was causing my light headedness so halved the dose. That helped but now the peripheral neuropathy is back to it's evil self. My GP says it's checks and balances which of course is true.

Mycophenolate newbie
Am presuming thiis will be one of many visits as they start me on
mycophenolate
. I thought u only took it if u had organ involvement. I have a lot of skin involvement and skin round my hands so tight - can't make a fist. Minute organ involvement.

I am drugged up to eyeballs on preds,
mycophenolate
mofetil and azithromycin. At present I am really struggling with mood swings, weight gain and all round feeling like garbage. How do others cope with this because at present I feel I am on a roundabout and cannot get off.

Mycophenolate
Hi all, I would like to know if anyone has had any experience of
Mycophenolate
? Had a Rheumy app today and this drug has been decided on the follow up to Cyclophosphamide infusions for ILD. I also have RA and Sjogrens. Any information on taking this drug would be helpful. Many thanks 🙂

Advice
Hey I`ve got my official letter from my consultant she is wanting to try me with Immunosuppressive Therapy and I`m presuming the medication is
Mycophenolate
500mg twice a day. Has anyone else been on this is it prep for Transplant? This is the first I`ve heard of this and panicked a little bit.

Mycophenolate
I have been on
mycophenolate
for about 4 weeks and just noticed on the advisory note that you are supposed to avoid sunlight. Does anyone know how dangerous it is to be exposed to sunlight. I wear a large brimmed hat and have bought strong sun block. Thanks. Debbie

Mycophenolate - Lupus Medications
They have prescribed my steroids (prednizone) and
Mycophenolate
. After reading the side effects of both meds I got scared to death. So, I'd like to know if you guys use or have used any of these meds and if yes, how have you reacted to them and the whole lupus disease at all. Thanks!

Sorting it all out
I have Sjogren's with MCTD and take Hydroxychloroquine,
Mycophenolate
and Amitriptylene. Now I am feeling very light headed when I stand up (? Orthostatic hypotension ) I have to record my BP twice every day for a month. If I've been sitting for some time then get up I feel dizzy and wobbly.

Mycophenolate begone!
Hi, was going to post on Barnclowns myco thread but decided that any negative reaction to
mycophenolate
probably should go somewhere else. Spoiler alert - not a positive post having not been posting here for a long time though I do read every day.

Considering Rituximab
For the past 10 years I've been medicated (low dose prednisone, hydroxichloriquine, and more recently also
mycophenolate
mofetil). These drugs and every effort at healthy lifestyle have helped me manage my disease. However - I don't have a very good quality of life.

Isolated aortitis
It's looking likely that my
mycophenolate
will be increased, but I can't help feeling, that this could have been dealt with months ago. I think it highlights the apparent lack of knowledge in a lot of health professionals, in relation to vasculitis. I'm off my soap box now 😁 xl

Query re Mycophenolate
I would be very interested to hear from any of you folks here on the forum if you have been treated with
Mycophenolate
for PMR/GCA? If so did it work in weaning you off prednisoline or reduce to an "acceptable" level?

mofetil and just wondered if anyone can let me know how they reacted to this drug. I also have an ileostomy due to ulcerative colitis but generally feel quite well. Thanks. Debbie

CRT results
I have my bloods done every 2 months as I'm on Hydroxychloroquine and
Mycophenolate
. My CRT is about 14...so high. Does this just indicate inflammation or could it be that I've been a bit under the weather with a cough, lack of appetite etc.
