Glacially slow tapering continuing
But the medics and me are expecting me to be on a fairly high dose for life, plus
Mycophenolate
Mofetil. At least it's been dropping pretty steadily since 2014, albeit very very slowly. Normally vasculitis patients can drop much better.

I am wondering if I will have to stop taking
Mycophenolate
before surgery. I won't know till tomorrow whether it will go ahead but I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row.

It never rains but it pours !
I have MCTD on
Mycophenolate
and Hydroxychloroquine. I am wondering it affects the surgery and post surgery at all ? I am probably jumping the gun but you know how it is ! Any help gratefully received.

Can anyone with SLE do intense exercise?
He is on
mycophenolate
and IV rituximab. His haemoglobin will definitely affect his aerobic ability and it is creeping upbeat at 10g at the moment. But it could normalise eventually?? He is 18 and incredibly optimistic about his future. That's just the way he is!

Poly or IBM?
Mycophenolate
I couldn’t tolerate so waiting to hear from bloods if I can have another immune suppressing drug. Asked specifically which I have to be told again it doesn’t matter they’re all treated the same. But I’m not text book so probably poly and I’m not a man over 50 for IBM.

Is anyone out there taking
Mycophenolate
for their RA? Most of the time I struggle with one infection or another, which was why I was put on this drug in the first place, having tried loads of others with no success! Would love to hear of any other experiences with it.

I want Zentiva not Quinoric ☹️
Also I’ve come off
mycophenolate
as it was making me so sick. I’m back seeing my rhuemy next week any idea on an alternative that’s gentle on my stomach. I also have Myositis which is my priority to treat right now and Hashimotos and on T3 only.

Lupus Nephritis IV
After yesterday’s renal results they’re now doubling my pred to 60mg and starting me on
mycophenolate
mofetil, amongst ramapril, ranatidine & nystatin. Everything has happened really quickly and I’m still in shock about the whole thing.

Frustrated!
He wants me to tell my dermatologist to take me off of my methotrexate and start me on
mycophenolate
, even though he admits they are very similar and do pretty much the same job.

Now I have a lot of widespread pain and stiffness and am on steroids,
mycophenolate
and zomorph twice daily which I have to top up with morphine ocassionally. The pain is in my hands and wrists and elbow and I wear splints most days. I am always in pain.

Blood results normal.
I am taking Hydroxychloroquine and
Mycophenolate
. I have been feeling pretty rough in the past few months but my blood test results have been normal. I always ask the surgery for copy ( gone up to £5 !)
