Hi
I thought it was the
mycophenolate
that was causing the problems. I feel better to some extent, since dropping the
mycophenolate
. The recent bloating, nausea, head issues and blood pressure, not to mention the pain in my joints are much worse this past 7 months.

I also understand that steroids and
mycophenolate
cause fast heart beat, but it says nothing about raised blood pressure on the information sheet. I have raised blood pressure as well. So yes I am a little concerned. Be well people xx

Theres the mess up with medication, and I am also worried about the fact that consultant took me off
mycophenolate
until I see him on 30th. So much going on and no help really...I will be ok when everything is done and they finally find a medication that works for me without any issues.

Frustrating but little things mean a lot.
I am on
mycophenolate
and budesonide and ursodioxychloric acid, I have the overlap, but I don't feel at all well, I am struggling. I just would like to know if anyone else is in the same boat. I wonder if the consultant is actually telling me everything.. Take care and be well xx

Taking antibiotics while on Immune suppressant
Does anyone have any experience of taking antibiotics while on
Mycophenolate
or any immune suppressant? I have been prescribed an antibiotic by a locum doctor who then asked me will I stop the
Mycophenolate
while taking the antibiotics?

Update
I did have to halve the
mycophenolate
because I couldn't function on such a high dose. They took me off of prednisolone and put me on 6 mg budesonide...the nausea has eased off since stopping the bored and halving the
mycophenolate
.

Over the past year I have been on Methotrexate and
mycophenolate
unfortunately I could not tolerate the side effects with either although the Methotrexate worked quite well, the
mycophenolate
didn’t do much at all to reduce my symptoms.

Slight bad news
I have just come off
mycophenolate
tablets and have been put on prednisolone again. See what happens. I supposed after these transplants it can't all be plain sailing.

Drugs combinations
Had to recently stop hydroxychloroquine due to possible ete problems and I'm on
mycophenolate
but need something else in combination as this doesn't seem to be controlling my condition enough.

what a roundabout
Today I had to ring her for a prescritption because you cant get
mycophenolate
from gp, and I need some blood forms..she rang me back and they have finally given me an appointment for 10th October, which is good seeing as they said 21 weeks.

Retinopathy Risk in Lupus Increases With Longer Hydroxychloroquine Use
Despite the benefits of treatment, which may also include anti-thrombotic and anti-diabetic effects and complete renal remission when given in combination with
mycophenolate
mofetil, the risks have been well documented.

Survival With Sirolimus Plus Tacrolimus Maintenance Without Induction Therapy Compared With Standard Immunosuppression After Lung Transplant
Findings In this cohort study of US recipients of lung transplants, sirolimus plus tacrolimus was associated with significantly better conditional survival from 1 year after transplant compared with

mofetil plus tacrolimus (median survival, 8.9 vs 7.1 years after transplant).
