Hi guys thank you for your replies and support. Just an update really. Went to see hepatolagist on Thursday and he's pleased with me. I did have to halve the mycophenolate because I couldn't function on such a high dose. They took me off of prednisolone and put me on 6 mg budesonide...the nausea has eased off since stopping the bored and halving the mycophenolate.
I definitely cannot return to work an have sent my notice of semi retirement with limited availability for work, into my boss.
I have to get my bloods checked next Friday, then in a month. If my bloods are stable, I can lower the budesonide and eventually come off them.
But positive feedback from consultant..
Take care xx

I'm glad to hear that you had such a positive experience. 🙂 I hope things continue to go well for you
I'm also pleased for you.
I had to take ill health retirement last year due to the fact that I have many conditions, my boss was brilliant and had tried everything first. Please take care Lynne
Good to see you had a positive appointment, it does make all the difference. I know when I gave up work it was a bit of a shock and I questioned the decision often, but I felt so much better for it. I’am sure you will too, I hope everything continues to go well.
Hi guys and thank you for your replies. I question my decision to leave work because I am on ESA and it's not really enough to live on. I have the form for PIP but I refuse to fill it out. There are no questions on that form that relates to me.
Our conditions are systemic not mental or physical. I can walk about despite the fatigue.....any how I may have to return to work because I can't lie on the form. I really need the little extra that PIP would allow me to stay home. I am much better in myself staying home but looks like I may have no choice.
