cool packs
I thought I’d share the fact that I have found great relief from the pain in my head from GCA using gel cool packs. This has helped me from having to use as many pain killers. Give it a try, it’s been a blessed relief and feels wonderful. Thanks

Endocrinologist wants me to taper faster
Although she said steroid myopathy doesn't normally produce
pain
, it can because it damages
muscle
fibers, and then activity can cause aches and tenderness. She was very insistent that what I am currently experiencing is being caused by the pred, not autoimmune activity.

Here are my previous results when I was only on 100 (which is been on for about a year post giving birth): 6th Feb Tsh: 3.44 T4: 15.0 (same ranges as above) As you can see my tsh was rubbish on only 100mcg and I had symptoms (fatigue,

pain
, dry, dry, dry skin).

Chemotherapy with Etoposide and Cisplatin
I have joint

muscle
pain
, basically pain anywhere and everywhere. I’m wondering if it could be lasting damage from the chemo or should I have fully recovered from that? I did have mild joint pain before but nothing like this.

Iron test - unsure how to interpret results
I'm trying to determine the cause of severe fatigue and
muscle
pain
, twitches, digestion issues, headaches, pins & needles. Does this measurement for transferrin saturation indicate anything I should investigate? I'm told it is not indicative of hemochromatosis. Thanks for your help.

Can anyone explain about soy please
Can someone please explain if it is fermented or unfermented soy that is ok to eat if you have an underactive thyroid. I have to make adjustments to what I eat and have been looking at tofu and tempeh but am not sure if they are ok to eat. Apologies I am a bit forgetful at the moment after long surgery

So much pelvic pain, any advice?
Hi All, I've been having pelvic pain on and off for many years, but lived fine with it before. However, in the last 5 months, it's gotten worst and in the last few weeks, it's gotten even worst again. I've already done: * All types of gynae assessments from a scan, to PAP and other tests, to
