myocarditis

I had a heart attack on 1st April, all my ECGs and angiogram were clear , I was told I had a MINOCA ( miocardio infrastruction with non obstructed cardiac arteries) after my MRI they diagnosed myocarditis. I have had constant chest pains ever since. I was referred for cardiac rehabilitation, I had my first session this week and they stopped it after the warm up as my pain shot up. They told me I shouldn’t go until recovered.

The cardiac nurse thinks my myocarditis is likely to be caused by covid which I had 18 months ago.

it’s been over 3 months with no improvement in pain levels, I’ve been told it could be another 3-6 months to recover, I’ve also heard it can take years to recover, if at all.

I’m struggling with the pain killers due to side effects, I use my GTN spray nearly every day, but I don’t think it helps at all. I can’t get a GP appointment, they always say call an ambulance when I say chest pain, when I do they take me to hospital and find nothing and send me home.

Does anyone have similar experience of this, and any ideas what will help

Thanks
