Jaydess
Has anyone tried the iud jaydess? This is smaller than the Mirena and releases less hormones but there is very little info on jaydess and endo. I am coming up to a month on jaydess and I am very very happy so far! I could not tolerate the pain from the Mirena at all and in the past progesterone has

Final diagnosis
Hi ladies, So i got my final diagnosis today, it turns out I have it on the bowel rectum and bladder and it’s sticking my organs together, my doctor suggested I tried the marina coil before we take the operation route, as she said the operation will be very tricky and I could be left with a permanent

Hysteroscopy, D&C, biopsy and Mirena coil
I just wanted to thank you for being there when I needed someone to talk to. I had put my constant bleeding for over 10 months down to 'the change' and my lack of energy and tiredness I thought was my age (I'm 51) however after Drs identifying anaemia and referring me to gynae, I had a scan, they found

Can someone please shed some light! Please!
I have endometriosis, and the mirena coil fitted. I am 21 years old. I went to the loo earlier for a pee, and some tissue paper got caught in the strings of the mirena (strings are too long, GP is aware). However, I tried to detangle the tissue paper but accidentally pulled on my strings. I felt

Mirena and bleeding
I had a coil fitted for heavy periods about 2 years ago and haven't had a period for approx 18 months. In the last 2 days I've started bleeding with low abdominal pain. Any idea what should I do - do I go the the GP? I'm worried because my Mum died of ovarian cancer - I know it is highly unlikely

Thank you all for sharing!
I’m 4 years undiagnosed since first child birth with similar symptoms and although I may Not have endo. I feel comfort reading these posts as I can relate so much to all of your pain and suffering! I have pelvic pain (maybe PSD from 18 month ago second pregnancy still?) mostly on left side, subtle chronic

Surgery and the coil??
Hi, I’m not yet 100% diagnosed with Endo but have my surgery in September. The doctors have told me to try on the Mirena coil instead of the pill (Lucette) and I’ll have it inserted during my surgery. I was wondering if anyone has had the coil and what their experiences were, as all I can find are bad

mirena coil
I had the mirena coil fitted 6 weeks ago while having my 5 laparoscopy and my symptoms are worse them before. Constantly bleeding, pain, trouble and pain passing water. I’ve been to out of hours, A&E and had emergency gynaecologist appointment but they have told me it can take 6-12 months for the body

Head is all over the place....
Hi all, phew so glad this forum exists - people that really understand this condition and its effects. So, I had my 5th laparoscopy and polyp removal 3 months ago and after ongoing issues of constipation, fatigue and pain I thought things just weren't right. I went to see my consultant last night (I

Thickened uterine lining
Hi, I’m 51 years old (have 2 children) and had my 3rd Mirena coil inserted 18 months ago. The last two have lasted 4 years, however, with the latest I have started bleeding off and on for the last 4 months. Visited GP and was referred for an ultrasound and TVU which I had on Thursday. Yesterday I was

Not coping 😕
I have IBS, Anxiety Disorder, complex PTSD and depression. I’m going on hols on Saturday and have had urgency (not D - just soft), butterflies in my tummy, burning pain, spasms and cramp. I’m dreading going on holiday, because I don’t want to spoil it for everyone in my family. As a history, I lived

Mirena coil - has yours moved?
Hello ladies, So, I’ll cut the long story in to a short one - I was diagnosed with endo on May 2016 (stage 4, and diagnosed from internal examination due to a visible nodule). I’m under a BSGE centre and had my first lap on Sept 2016. This confirmed a joint surgery with a bowel specialist was needed

Doctors dont believe me about my symptoms
So after fighting for years I finally got a lap last year which confirmed I had endometriosis stage 1 in a couple of areas. It was treated and I wad given the mirena which I had to get removed as it made all my symptoms worse. I had a meeting with a pelvic pain team who said that it could not be endometriosis

Suspected endometriosis and multiple cysts.. I can feel a lump (really long 1st post)
Hello! Straight to it. I think I must be able to feel, externally, either the multiple cysts (seen during ultrasound scan) or part of the suspected endometriosis on the outside of my body. Two years ago, not long after having an emergency CSection, I noticed a lump, on the left about an inch below my
