I just wanted to thank you for being there when I needed someone to talk to.
I had put my constant bleeding for over 10 months down to 'the change' and my lack of energy and tiredness I thought was my age (I'm 51) however after Drs identifying anaemia and referring me to gynae, I had a scan, they found a thickening of the womb lining so I had a pre op assessment ready for the above procedure under anaesthetic two weeks later.
I felt I was on a conveyor belt and noone had time to talk to me let alone mention what the worse case scenario might be. Then I found out about Eve Appeal and after a friendly chat where I asked all sorts of questions, I could relax and not worry about the impending biopsy results.
Well today I checked with my DR and they were in and I am pleased to say they are ok! Just my hormones which is what I was told to expect.
I'm still a little anaemic so they are monitoring that however I just want to say thanks Karen for being there!
It's a really scary place when being referred so I just want to send a little encouragement and pray, that for many more of you, all will be ok.
To those who are having treatment, I am wishing you all the best and would encourage you to use this forum for emotional support too.

That's such a lovely message to receive, thank you so much for taking the time to post it, and for being so kind.
You've got no idea how much it means to me and the rest of Team Eve when we hear good news from one of our lovely ladies. I'm beyond pleased for you that there's nothing serious going on, and it's just those annoying hormones! I bet you were incredibly relieved and it's a huge weight lifted from your shoulders.
You know where I/we are if you ever have any other gynae queries or want to keep us updated - and thank you again for being so lovely in your feedback!
It's such a shame when we hear from a woman who has had x symptom for x amount of time and doesn't want to bother her doctor, or doesn't think it's worth making an appointment - so having lovely people like yourself on board to spread awareness is so vital.
