Burst cyst?
Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone can advise... My period started a couple of days ago, it's really light as I have the Mirena but was more painful than usual. Then yesterday morning I was suddenly doubled over in pain and could do nothing but curl in a ball and cry, couldn't speak, didn't know what to

My coil isn’t helping :( any alternatives for endo?
I’ve had the Mirena for a 16 months and now the jaydess for three months. They both make me bloated, emotional, don’t take away my pain and give me migraines! Are there any alternatives that have worked for you ladies? X

What should I expect with a mirena coil?
I’m having a laparoscopy on the 29th and at the same time having a mirena coil inserted. I’ve had a lap before but what about the mirena coil? How effect is it for treating symptoms of Endo and will it cause any discomfort? Thanks

Waiting for mirena fitting, pill discontinued
Hello Wondering if anyone can offer any advice. I was diagnosed last September, where endo was removed by excision. I'm now waiting to have the mirena coil fitted but due to the pain I get with speculums it's going to be done under General anesthetic, which they've agreed to do. The issue is my pill

Mirena & Bloating
Hi, I've had the mirena in for 2 weeks now. Still get niggly cramps and the feeling that its "there". Has anyone else experienced really sore boobs and heavy bloating? This is really affecting me now, 2lbs on in a day just with bloat and it is painful. How long do side effects take to settle? TIA

Shall i have the Mirena Coil removed??????
Hi All, This time last year i decided to get a Mirena coil. When the nurse was trying to insert it i was in a lot of pain, apparently my muscles were spasming whilst they were clamped so they had problems inserting the coil. They managed to insert the coil in on the 4th attempt. I was in so much pain

Extreme leg pain 5 months after laparoscopic procedure
Hi everyone, i had a laparoscopy back in the beginning of march, i also had a mirena coil inserted at the same time. The first 2 periods i had were extremely painful and long, but it settled back down to normal, where i didnt have another period for 2 months. And it just hit me after a 2 month break.

Mirena Coil
Hi, I had the mirena coil fitted on Tuesday. I had GA to have a hysteroscopy & biopsy. I have a 2cm fibroid. My initial consultant recommended the Mirena, but he was not the same consultant on the day. The doctor on the day said she fitted it but didnt know if it would work for me as my heavy bleeding

Hi all I have no official diagnosis but have all the signs. I'm 44 and had a mirena coil inserted in march during hysteroscopy and polypectomy. Since then my pain is increasing 10 fold and the bleeding is brown/black mixed with red and dark clots. My tv scan 6 weeks ago showed another haemorrhagic cyst

anyone's endo sypmtoms continuing even with mirena?
Hi lovelies! Wondered if anyone else feels a bit disappointed with the "miracle cure" that is the mirena? My periods have nearly disappeared - win - but I still get pain. Random Pelvic pain, leg pain, period-type pain, varying from mild to severe. I'm 7 months in to the mirena. I know I should probably

Mirena Coil or Nothing
Just went for my gyn referral after a normal ultrasound last month. Now I'm being told by her that if I do have endo it's mild and my only options are to lose weight, get a Mirena or nothing. She said she'll reassess in 8 months. I've been having these problems for 4 years now. I'm in so much pain

Anxiety with endo and mirena coil?
Hey! Can anyone tell me if Endo and the Mirena coil can trigger random anxiety attacks! I suffer with panic attacks anyways but their rare, I'm on medication for this, but have heard that Magnesium is a good vitamin to take for anxiety! Can anyone tell me if this has helped them? Do you think the Endo

Treatment options post children
What options have people been given for treatment once they have completed their family? I’m currently on mini pill and I’m bleeding around 24/25 days in a month. Can’t take the other pill, implant or injection. Marina Coil was painful and caused frequent bleeding too. Was on zoledex and hoping to go
