Anxiety with endo and mirena coil?

Hey!

Can anyone tell me if Endo and the Mirena coil can trigger random anxiety attacks! I suffer with panic attacks anyways but their rare, I'm on medication for this, but have heard that Magnesium is a good vitamin to take for anxiety! Can anyone tell me if this has helped them?

Do you think the Endo and Mirena coil could be affecting my hormones, causing the random anxiety attacks? I've had the mirena in for 10 almost 11 months..Please could anyone help me out.

Thank you:-)

hiiiiiiii, I haven’t suffered with anxiety attacks increasing since having my coil 14 weeks ago. However, it has taken SOME time to settle. I generally only get anxiety through motorway driving 🤷🏼‍♀️ Weird I know - the therapist said that it’s to do with me feeling closed in and trapped when I get on but by the by, I just avoid them 😂🤦🏼‍♀️. Anyway, back to the coil. It has taken a long time to settle but it will mess with your hormones - which will possibly trigger your anxiety. However, bare with it as it may settle down. I’ve been an emotional wreck since I had mine done - I cry at the drop of a hat which is not like me who is known for crying “pebbles” 😂 I hope it settles for you too xx

I feel your pain - I’ve not had a “proper period” since fitting - although I do get spotting and quite a lot of mucus. Sometimes when we are hormonal we will just put it down to it must be the coil - when in actual fact it’s probably any other factor which sets us off 😂👏🏻 Sounds like it’s helping you like me - I’m stage 4 and my last lap was pretty bad so if it’s helping me it should help other with lower grades Endo x

Same as me with the Mucus crap, its gross..I blame everything on my endo lmao pain-Endo, Badmood-Endo, Hungry-Endo lol

Aww when I had my lap they told me it was covering my womb, tubes and ovaries, they've offered me the OP to have it removed but said it would grow back within a year 🤷‍♀️ So what's the point! I'm stage three, and like you said if it can help us, but then again everyone is different 🤷‍♀️ xx
