Extreme leg pain 5 months after laparoscopic procedure

Hi everyone, i had a laparoscopy back in the beginning of march, i also had a mirena coil inserted at the same time. The first 2 periods i had were extremely painful and long, but it settled back down to normal, where i didnt have another period for 2 months. And it just hit me after a 2 month break. All of a sudden i have been in extreme pain, severe period cramps and pain travelling from my right ovarie down to my knee. I went to a n e as the pain was unbearable and all they could help with was more pain relief. Should i be worried that the endo has come back this quickly. And advice would be helpful

I’d try and get referred back to your specialist as Endo can come back very quickly after laparoscopic excision. I’m experiencing the same pain in the legs and only morphine will ease it. Tramadol, naproxen, co-codamol do nothing.

Thankyou... i was given naproxen and cocodamol too but it only makes my head woozy and does nothing for the pain

Chandini91 I had this in June 2017 after a year of having my coil fitted. It all started again am now being chemically put through the change to prepare me for hysterectomy. The pain I get in my right ovarie then down my leg is so painful. Keep in contact with you gynaecologist.

I had honestly believed that the coil would stop the endo from coming back 🙁.
