Excessive back pain and chronic fatigue, is it possible Endo isn’t the only cause??
So last month I had my second laparoscopy with incision of mirena coil. I know it’s too early to know how well both of these have worked, but I have had some quite severe back pain and it hasn’t come along with a period as it normally would. I’m just curious if anyone else has had treatment for Endo

Mirena coil and mood stabilisers
Hi I take a mood stabiliser daily due to mental health issues, and I am scared to take anything that’s going to mess with my Moods eg contraceptive pill. My consultant has told me the mirena coil is less intrusive as the hormones from the pill have to go through your blood stream first? Does anyone have

Mirena Coil Good & Bad
Hiya, I'm new here and I'd really love to hear your experiences both positive and negative regarding the mirena coil please! I would be going on it with the main aim being to reduce/stop pain (and slow endo) but I've read a lot of mixed things about this - what's your experience? Has it helped your

Lap Date Finally!
Hi you lovely Endo Warriors! So I finally have a date for a lap, 25th of October, the gynae doctor suspects endo and will remove any traces if they show up on the lap then I am being fitted with the mirena coil. So my question is, what to expect? I know everyone is different and we all heal differently

IUD REMOVAL
Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me? On 13/09/19 I had my mirena IUD removed as me and my boyfriend have decided we wanted to try for a baby. I only had it for about 5 weeks (sounds silly I know) but then I had a bit of cramping and bleeding on 14/09/19. I know this is common after and IUD removal

Finally a diagnosis, it's endometriosis :(
Hello all! I am a new member but I have been reading up on various posts before I decided to join officially. I received a diagnosis for endometriosis on Thursday this week. This came about after having years of generalised seemingly unrelated symptoms, including unusually painful periods, severe ibs

Prostap injection and Mirena coil together - any experience?
I’ve been on Prostap for one year and am very happy with the treatment. Unfortunately as I am only 43 I cannot continue the Prostap after the next 3 month injection. I’m considering having the Mirena coil fitted this month whilst I still am taking the Prostap. Anyone had experience of this?

Last resort for me: Mirena Coil
Hello ladies, long time no post as things have been bad for me recently. I am due to have my surgery at the end of the week, laparoscopic treatment for endometriosis (and to see where it is, he suspects bowel as well as the usual places) and a cystoscopy to check why I'm having horrible bladder symptoms

Unclear outcome from lap
Hi all, I had my first lap 2 days ago, the surgeon told me he found endometriosis and that my ovaries were stuck to the back of my uterus. For everything else I asked, I got fairly ‘non- medical’ answers. He said he ‘blasted away’ all the endometriosis he could find, which I think he was referring to

Adenomyosis and lower back pain.
I’m so relieved to have found this group after 3 years of undiagnosed increasingly bad pelvic & lower back pain. My story....After many GP & gynae appointments (transvaginal ultra sounds, hysteroscopy)I pushed for a laparoscopy to rule out Endometriosis on my other organs & found I had Adenomyosis.

Experiences with Lo-Estrin 20 vs Mercilon
Just wondering if anyone has tried Lo-Estrin 20 or Mercilon (both combined pills with low oestrogen)? Over the past year and a half I’ve been experimenting with different treatments to see what works for me. I tried the Mirena coil (which didn’t agree with me at all), I tried purely herbal/natural remedies

Temporary Soloution?
Hey, I wanted to share with you some information having just seen a specialist in Endometriosis... short story; I was referred for a second opionion after laparoscopy in March that revealed minimal Endo but I am not further forward with pain, if anything it's worse for me. Today I understand Endometriosis

Don't understand why my doctor won't diagnose me with endometriosis
I started my period at an early age of 8 years old. I suffer with irregular periods which are painful and lose quite a lot of blood clots. Also bleed in-between periods. Got put on the pill at 12 years old to try regular my periods, slow the bleeding and help with pain. Try several pills throughout my
