Hi all

I have no official diagnosis but have all the signs. I'm 44 and had a mirena coil inserted in march during hysteroscopy and polypectomy.

Since then my pain is increasing 10 fold and the bleeding is brown/black mixed with red and dark clots. My tv scan 6 weeks ago showed another haemorrhagic cyst (they appear on both ovaries ), endometrial polyp and a fibroid growing outside of uterus. I have a repeat scan next week to check things. I also have a very retroflexed uterus as well.

To complicate matters I'm on tamoxifen for prevention of breast cancer as have a strong family history of breast, colon cancers, and my mum had ovarian cancer as well as breast and colon cancer.

I'm so worried there's something really wrong due to my symptoms. It was hoped that the coil would sort things out but they seem worse.....

Would like to chat to others xx

Hi! I am really sorry to hear about all that you are going through! I can imagine that you are feeling a whirlwind of emotions. Talking about it with women that can relate certainly helps. There is a part of your story that I can not identify with because of your family history, yet can relate with others, if I could support you in anyway, count me in.

I am 13 days post Lap. It is my first and only surgery, I am declaring it to the universe! I was diagnosed with Endo and it was removed. The recuperation process has been slow, but I feel it is going in the right direction. It took me two years to make the decision to get the surgery done, I had been fighting the idea of having someone invade my insides. I can not speak for the results of the surgery, as it is too soon, but I can say that there is a peace of mind I was so desperately needing in terms of diagnosis. I think most of us experience very similar anguish with not knowing what is going on and at some point think we are crazy. At least from what I have read, it is the common thread. Please feel free to ask or comment about any post of your or my story.

I hope this message finds you experiencing a painless day. I send you a big hug.

In kindness,

Margarita
