Help Needed Before Appointment! (adenomyosis)
Hi everyone, after reading posts here for months I thought I'd finally end my silence and post for the first time. I'm 23 and was diagnosed with adenomyosis around 2 years ago. After a long diagnosis journey, being fobbed off and trying what felt like every pill/ injection under the sun, I agreed to

Cyclical dips
This is going to be a female- only post unless any men on the forum have any words of wisdom! 😂 So two years after starting my T3 journey I’m now feeling amazing... most of the time. Having tried various things and made some properly stoopid mistakes, I think now I know what I’m doing and what I need

Pain with Mirena after 3 years
I had the mirena coil fitted at the same time as a hysteroscopy 3 years ago to treat pain and heavy bleeding. After an initial period of 7-8 months settling time, where I had daily spotting, the pain and bleeding settled. Now, 3 years later the pain is starting to come back, and I have had some odd bleeding

Endo fatigue - how to perk up?
Hi... What do you do to help perk up from the endo fatigue? I'm all tired out today, and it happens every single day. Gosh. I think this is fatigue. There must be something I can do to perk up again. I have stage IV endometriosis. I've healed from my diagnostic lap now (had it 5 weeks ago), awaiting

TSH rising despite being on 150mcg of thyroxine?
I had Graves years ago and eventually have become hypothyroid in later years since it was treated. I have been been stable for a while but over the years lots of ups and downs with vitamin D, calcium levels and rising parathyroid hormone levels and severe anemia. I have suffered with a flare up of GERD

What's next after my laparoscopy and follow up appointment?
Hey guys, a few weeks ago I had a laparoscopy to remove an ovarian cyst and to try to remove all the endometriosis I had. I just had follow up appointment with my gyno and he said the cyst was successfully removed and still have both my ovaries. But he could only remove most of the endometriosis, so

Implant for endo?
Hello, After a year of tests it is looking likely I have endometriosis—though the dr I am assigned to is reluctant to perform a laparoscopy despite cysts and adhesions present. He recommended a mirena coil in our telephone conversation but did not go into this in detail or mention other options. I now

Bleeding on the mirena coil
Looking for some advice before I ring the GP tomorrow. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in may 2017 after suffering pain and other symptoms for many years. In 2019 I had a pain flare which lasted 6 months before I was started on amitriptyline and was given the Mirena coil to help my pain. I've had

What treatments have you had for endometriosis?
I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year after a laparoscopy and ablation. I was advised after to take the mini pill as I get migraines and can't take the combined. My symptoms kept getting worse and it was decided by me and my GP to try the Mirena coil. I had it fitted 3 weeks ago and know I need

Your experience on the Mirena or Jaydess coil?
Anyone had experiences on the IUD/IUS mirena or jaydess coil contraception? I want to get it but very worried about the insertion procedure and overall side effects. Was getting it fitted painful? Did you experience any side effects on the coil? Any info would be a great help thanks!

Hormone treatment
Hello guys, hope everyone is okay. I've been suffering with endometriosis symptoms for the past 13 years, and finally I'm having it looked into. I've been told that they wanna switch me from the pill to the mirena coil as this will help symptoms, they don't want to do surgery as I don't have children

Zoladex and Mirena question? Need help.
Okay so I’ve been on zoladex for two years awaiting a hysterectomy but due to covid the waiting list is so long they have taken me off the zoladex as the gynae doesn’t want me on it any more. So I had a Mirena fitted a week ago with the hope it will keep my periods away. My next zoladex would have been

Is it possible to have endometriosis and still feel pain while on hormone treatments?
I have tried two types of the pill, the GnRH analogues (Zoladex injections) and I have had the mirena coil implanted for the last seven weeks. While on all three I have still felt horrible pain in my womb. I am just wondering if hormones always work or if there may be some women who just don't respond

Bulky uterus - Adenomyosis?
Hi, I have a question you might be able to help me with. From the last ultrasound I had, the gynaecologist who did the scan wrote in the follow up letter that I have a "bulky uterus". I've looked that up online, and as far as I can understand it, I think that means I'm likely to have adenomyosis. I

A comfy dress is heavenly after laparoscopy!
Hi, I'm in week three after a diagnostic laparoscopy, wash-out, and removal of some adhesions for endo. Healing takes time, and I've been feeling cranky, slow and sore. Yesterday, I saw a suggestion to have comfortable clothing to wear after a laparoscopy, so I ordered a sundress online. A comfy, floaty
