hello just joining this group as I’m interested in knowing how to move forward with managing endometriosis during and post menopause. Any advice welcome. Currently managed with mirena but is there another way beyond menopause?

Waiting for appointment for gynaecologist
Hi everyone, I got diagnosed with endometriosis around 12 years ago, I'm 30 next month. But for the past 2 months I have had a major flare up, went to gp who sent me for bloods and an ultrasound - both came back with nothing. Then 2 weeks ago she finally put the referral in for the gynecologist.

Issues with HRT four weeks on
I’ve been taking 100mg of Utrogestan, 2 pumps of oestrogel and vagirux for a month now. Initially I felt calmer but now I’m feeling worse than before. I’m getting more genito-urinary symptoms especially the day after using Vagirux. It’s the same as Vagifem. Especially after dropping down to twice

It's game over for us - how do we move on from failed IVF?
We started IVF after a complicated MMC just before the first lockdown in the UK and a misdiagnosis of partial molar pregnancy resulting in a couple of months of going into hospital for tests at the height of the pandemic. We didn't ever want to suffer a miscarriage ever again and had been told we could

Help with iron panel results please
Hi, I had an iron panel done in July following years of trying to get iron levels up with Ferrous Fumarate, without any luck. Results attached. On consultation with my GP we agreed for me to try a Mirena coil. However leading up to the date for inserting this I freaked about the actual procedure and

Having two contraceptions
Hi, I'm about to get the Mirena coil but I'm currently on the depo injection. I was wondering if it's ok to be on two contraceptions at once? I'm thinking it might help with the transition and pain as I'm really struggling to get strong enough pain killers from my GP. They have prescribed mefenamic

Awaiting a diagnosis, would love to connect with others, as feeling so low
I'm mid 40s and for the past 6-9 months I've been having bowel/abdo issues - including constipation and then urgency. I also have constant abdo pain, predominately in my left hand side that gets much just before and during my period. This month I feel like I'm in some kind of flare as the pain is not

I’m so confused- precancerous changes
I've been going through investigations regarding ovarian cancer after a recent Ultrasound showed few abnormalities. The scan showed that my right ovary is enlarged and contains a heterogeneous lesion and appears to contain droppler flow within. I have free pelvic fluid and my endometrium is thickened

Mirena coil worries
I am writing this because I have no idea what to about my mirena coil. Whenever I have periods my mood is the worst, it is as though I take a running nose dive off of the tallest building right into solid rocks. In the past I have taken numerous contraception, pills, injection and now the mirena coil

Endo - struggling with hormonal contraception as a treatment
Hi, I’m really hoping someone can offer help/ experience of what to do when you cannot tolerate hormonal contraception as an endo treatment. I’ve had to give up on the idea of having any more children, we tried for a long time and nothing happened, even after I had endo treated in a laparoscopy. My
