Trusting the medical professionals
Having just come home after a hair-raising emergency admission , in which the chest infection took huge liberties when I had no defences after the chemo, and I had to totally trust me medical team..(without their brilliant intervention I may not have made) it it occurred to me how massively important

Managing non-medicated teen
Hello. My son just turned 15 and chose not to be on medication when starting high school. We supported it because, quite honestly, the med he was on (and the ones we tried over the years) had more negative side effects than positive benefits. I've done fish oil, magnesium, vitamin D, iron & calcium

im not sure what this young woman can do in terms of helping,I feel she is not going to help with my feelings ect since I find it difficult to express myself clearly when in the throes of anxiety and unfamiliar surroundings, and change in weather certainly affects me being older, any thoughts on the matter

Hello to anyone who reads this. I just turned 43 and was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder in my 20's. On top of anxiety, I was diagnosed with ADD many years ago as well. I finally thought that joining a group with people who actually understand the battle might be helpful for me. I remember my

Is anyone on Essential Oils for W&W?
Folks around here are getting into essential oils... I've rolled on immune therapy for my swollen neck gland, and it seemed to help some... but I have a sore throat and cough that has hung on... I'd been on Claritin for a year and it did help... but I've read of test results that Claritin and Xanax

D3/cholecalciferol and fish oil and possibly adverse effects
I have just recently learned that some brands of fish oil capsules contain significant levels of D3 . I was taking as many as four or five capsules daily and each contained 2000 units of D3 . And I was experiencing increased leg weakness which I now suppose my calciferol levels were possibly higher

Waiting (not so) patiently.
I’ve decided that with all the medical reviews, blood tests, chuff checks and period monitoring that comes with IVF they seem to have overlooked one extremely vital question when you’re being assessed - “Do you have the patience of a f**king saint?” Because my GOSH do you need it. We’re due to start

Hello all I’ve read a few posts and researched a little and am still none the wiser on flaxseed oil! I was advised to take it for the omega fish oil content & to help T4 to T3 but I’ve read it can make your hair fall out & I’ve noticed I’ve been losing more hair over the last 6 months or so (before starting
