Hi this may sound crazy but until needing med records for court in relation to having alot of stress leading to panic disorder and agrophobia and becoming aware of what anxiety ment instead of what others presume it to be . I had a volvious with gangarene op age 3years and was under specialist until age 16 but im now 45 and since leaving home assumed what i was told and bowel trouble and having b12 jabs for pa was the normal way of life and never looked at why as i thiught having loose bowels and other symptoms fatique ect was due to normal life. Thers too much issues to go into why but over the past year iv learned about my pernisous anemea and all the wierd behavour and tics/nerves that iv had on and off and thought i was wierd or was told off for wer due to nerve damasge or when b12 was off now iv seen in notes malabsortion after volvious and ten yrs later age 13 ileocolic resection follow with b12 . I cant remember having this and it doesnt show any detail as it was on summery iv asked family but no use they think im mad since agrophobia . Now iv read wat it is im scared of the ammount of info i was never told as since adulthood iv not been under care only going for b12 .will new gps since then have all hospital notes if it was so long ago as iv been serverly depressed and tired and believe my daughters ongoing issues are connected but nobody has told me iv got chrones disease and ongoing issues my daughter had to even mention this till recently but we had bloods done and both of us have to have further tests as i think it all nutrients and levels low and when i said about the ops in childhood i dont think they were aware of my history .Im scared as iv no idea how much or what is missing from bowel or if i may need more now im older sorry for manic rant but i feel so confused and mad at nobody at home knowing more about risks or the chrones iv i have got it as it just says i had the resection and read its for chrones disease sorry so confusing and long x

Confused over medical notes
I felt the need to reply, even though stunned by the amount of information and non informatin in your post. I have had Crohn's Disease for about 30 years (now in my mid 60's) to my mind, you need to ask to see a Gastroenteroloist, and take in a list of your main concerns, so that a specialist can explain what has happened, and what may happen. As to your family thinking you are mad, I have had anxiety problems related to some medications, agoraphobia, related to a variety of problems, you are NOT MAD, we are all entitled to have problems now and then. I had Cognitive Behaviourable Therapy this helped me a lot, when your body is not getting all the nutrients it needs, can affect the workings of the mind, ask Gp about "Talking Therapies" and learn to love yourself a little more.
