I tried having a full body
massage
to help ease my aches but ended up hurting all over! A cold shower helps but I can’t spend all day in there. Does anyone have some good tips please ?

A success story
The consultant first thought I had cheated the test as he had previously shown me how to temporarily reduce my pressures with an eyeball
massage
. He figured I'd been doing this in the waiting room before the appointment.

WEEKLY CHAT 5TH FEB - 11 FEB: Warming Up
I am ok on in-between run maintenance; every other day
massage
ball, muscle warm up and then stretches, plus a weekly swim..and Molly walks of course. But, that leads me to another question; how does anyone with a young family and/or job fit all of this in? Enough of my rambling.

Recovery and relapse
I keep telling myself that if I just do some stretching exercises, have a
massage
, rest etc etc I can overcome, live with this.

WEEKLY CHAT: 26 February to 3 March
I have since done calf raises, clams and various stretches and have battered my calf with a
massage
ball to try to slacken things off. The pain has gone now, but I have yet to test it with a run. I will see what tomorrow brings. I am wondering whether this is an older runner thing.

Success Story (so far, anyway)
Docs were a little useless but again research here helped a lot, and I slowly weaned off of it- took 6-8 months to fully get off the drug, and meanwhile tried the usual range of medications and alternative therapies- klonopin, gabapentin, pregabalin, iron tablets, iron infusions, acupuncture, deep

PMR or Arthritis?
I’m not happy to take NSAIDs long term and I am now thinking of acupuncture and
massage
. I do 30 mins of stretching and yoga type exercises every morning as well as those advised by the physio, though this can be hard with the stiffness.

Are you lacing your running shoes too tightly?
I know the exercises, I have the
massage
balls and shoe inserts, but more importantly I'm not tieing my laces so tightly and now I'm running comfortably once more. This morning's super cold run was glorious as the sun was rising. Great to do some intervals and get some speed going to warm up.

First school day ft Main character, guided by two dogs, meets the forest guru and an orphan guy of color that is always smiling in his world
The talk and
massage
helped but tired me out and brought some pain physical and emotional. Meanwhile it's sis' first school day. They woke me in the morning. I was still tired. I fell asleep again and wake up just now.

I’m back 😃😁🤸🏼♀️🤸🤸🏾♂️
Now on to my cross-fibre
massage
, which I have done daily in the last few days, and I think these are also a game changer. So I’ll take it slow, but I am on my way back! Happy running, everone!

Has anyone heard of Parsonage Turner Syndrome? Out of interest.
The sports
massage
she did was great, I’d have a few hours of respite from the pain. she concentrated under my arms, which sounds weird now . Was the pain she caused preferential than the original pain?

I think Tramadol has caused my RLS
I only had to get out and pace around a bit and use my
massage
gun twice. I was really surprised that I didn't have restless legs at 6 and 7am like I've been having with Tramadol.
