Pros and Cons of GCA/PMR prescribed Prednisolone.
I have tried ,exercise, stretching, yoga, acupuncture ,
massage
and osteopathy. All helpful but unable to lengthen the range of motion due to seriously shortened muscles(or so it seemed).

Not Running – A Tale of Two Aqueducts and a Castle
Application of pressure to various points and
massage
of the glute muscles brings increasing mobility throughout the session. Hopefully the acupuncture will help too. Walking around Conwy afterwards things feel much easier.

Did the stretches a bit of a
massage
and then off to work. It’s still grumbling but it’s ok. Week 4 here I come. Each step up I get a bit hesitant, can I do this, and then I hear you all shouting. Go for it trust the program. So I am here’s to Friday

Help with RA pain
I am using heat pads, stretching,
massage
gun, cbd oil and ibuprofen gel but nothing is touching it. I can’t get a physio appointment at the hospital or doctors and cannot afford a private physio. My RA team just dismiss me and don’t help.

Oxford Half Marathon report - 2021 finale 😊😊😊
Shout out to the pompom-behatted man who lead the warm up - I have never given myself a face and chest
massage
before 😄 After that it was time for Linda and me to part company - it was so lovely to meet her! I went off to get in my pen, and wait with bated breath for the start.

Big10k and the Dodgy Achilles Revelation
First thing I did when I finished, instead of going to find Katnap, was to head straight for the Fire & Earth
massage
tent. Tempo Events always have a
massage
tent at their races for free massages, you are just asked to put a donation in for their charity, 'Time Out'.

Feeling like my doctors brush me off
Then was told to go get a
massage
to deal with stress. I finally told them that I couldn't deal with the pain any longer and was sent to pain Management. Duloxitine was prescribed for nerve pain and it worked for the neuropathy in my arms.

HHM Training - Week 10 Day 3
I feel floaty and chilled and actually looking forward to testing out the effects of the
massage
on a run on Sunday. Fingers crossed it will help but my God was my leg and hip sore!!!

Doctor or products?
Been hoping being careful and gentle
massage
(!) would help but don’t think it will. Doctor or products? Thanks for listening; first time poster.

Lymphoedema with MBC
Following that I had treatment for lymphoedema in my right arm (
massage
) which went away, thankfully. ANYWAY, I now have developed lymphoedema in both my lower legs. My feet and ankles are stiff and swollen, my calves are swollen snd behind my knees is really itchy and tight.

Compression Sleeves
Resting lots, ice & deepheat, and physio/sports
massage
is helping but so too is a compression sleeve. I picked up a basic tubi-grip from boots for a couple quid but I am trying to work out if investing in one of the sport specific ones that are £15-£20 would be better.

An outcome I was told wasn't possible ..
Plus I took, (and still take) huge quantities of vitamin C (2,000mg per day) & vitamin D 28,000ml, Iodine, Turmeric, Ginger, , green teas and regular Tuina
massage
treatment. I luckily found somebody who has guided me through this extreme vitamin regime.

3rd shot Pfizer today….
This time the nurse encouraged me to
massage
my arm; good idea as it’s still sore. I rubbed it through my waiting period and car ride home so 30 min.

He also recommended I get in touch with the local uni where they often have free or very cheap sports
massage
available from their students.
