I know I haven't posted here for a while, sorry about that. Have you missed me?
My marathon training was going so well until my 18mile long run left me with a niggle that has really messed up my running ability.
Resting lots, ice & deepheat, and physio/sports massage is helping but so too is a compression sleeve.
I picked up a basic tubi-grip from boots for a couple quid but I am trying to work out if investing in one of the sport specific ones that are £15-£20 would be better.
Does the price difference mean better for me, or just better marketing from them?
Thanks

A well fitting sleeve or sleeves is worth it if you've got the sizing right. A generic "one size" not really worth extra money. I used to sleep in tubi grip overnight for muscle pain but wouldn't wear them during the day as they tend to roll or move a bit causing more issues than they solve
I've never tried expensive ones but do have these amazon.co.uk/Compression-Sl.... I find them really helpful, both to run in or to wear afterwards. Expensive ones may be better, but I'm happy enough witht he difference these make.I do have some 2XU flight socks which are even tighter but have never tried them for running!
