Wk8 run2 but ran for longer, is that good or bad?
My legs were ok, a few sore parts but a good massage and my new found love of Tumeric lattes, they are ok today!
I’ll go back to 28 mins for my 3rd run and then onto week 9.
I was trying to test my 5k park run ability and it’s almost there!!

Consolidation Runs
The moral of the story here is
1) don’t run on the same day as having a massage.
2) don’t give up.. you can do it!
Has anyone else struggled with consolidation runs?

I had to keep stopping and stretching it out and trying to massage it (impossible as the niggle is deep inside the buttock!).
The whole final stretch along the seafront I had to walk/shuffle along due to exhaustion and butt niggle, it felt like torture!
W7R1 got my mojo back
Mindset was good, breathing was better, enthusiam was there and the massage I had last night definitely helped!
I can do it man.
Week 3
Some techniques of coping with the discomfort or pain are: 1) use heat and/or cold pack; 2) massage area; 3) prescribed medication; 4) meditate to take your mind off the pain; and 5) think and talk positive. You can read more about it in Chapter 4 of your WWE guide book.
W5R3 done so over half way now and seeing feeling liking the difference
I have to say the combination of the NHS strength and flexibility podcast is really supporting any previous aches and niggles I had, that and my super massage ball.

Gum disease and cigarette quit
A few remedy advises : First of all is to maintain exellent hygiene for extra cleaning and as a natural antibacterial ,massage gums daily with raw coconut oil . To reduce inflammation , rinse and switch with salt water,a couple of times a week . Regular dentist visits are important .
