"Water weight"
Hope you guys following Lytham's Challenge are all still full of beans (in moderation, of course :) ). I noticed that some of you who started early, and are now approaching week 3, are enthused by some quite impressive initial weight loss. While it's great to see that downwards movement on the scales

Hi all - need to try something else and am hoping I find something that I can finally stick with. Been to WW and Slimming World in the past but I always end up stopping after a few months and putting more weight back on. Am 55 this week and need some to get myself healthy! I’ve probably had weight issues

What's the point? (Possible Trigger WARNING)
And end up having some "

First week of LCHF completed
As I have written before, I couldn’t imagine a meal without carbs. We always had bread /pasta/rice or potatoes with every meal. A month ago I started the 12 week NHS diet and for first few weeks did really well and then it slowed to 1lb loss which demoralised me. Last Monday I accepted Lytham’s challenge

Frustrated and apparently over medicated
I've just had a frustrating call with the respiratory consultant. In the 7 months since I caught covid I've had 3 courses of pred, vast quantities of ventolin, added montelukast, upped fostair from 2x100/6 to 8 x 200/6 a day and added uniphylin continus - my GP has been fantastic and over 5 months I'd

Do I need T3?
It begins with bad pelvic/gut pains and ends up with me being bed bound for days/weeks on end with a sore throat, sinus issues, headaches, anxiety,
low
mood
, terrible nausea, muscle aches and chronic fatigue. I may be clutching at straws but I’m wondering if T3 could help?

Hashimoto and potential PCOS? Blood test results
Hi all, Have been diagnosed with Hashi years ago, but recently had odd symptoms, horrible painful acne, skin discolorations, weight gain,
low
mood
. Did the day 3 hormonal profile and looks like results might be pointing towards PCOS? Or is it just badly managed Hashi?

Bit of an update and a query
Hi all, hope you’re doing good. So I went to back to the GP after a week of prednisolone, peak flow diary and ventolin and he thinks from the steroids and ventolin helping me and the ups/downs of the peak flow that I may benefit from a preventer inhaler and to see an asthma nurse. He said I will need

The
low
mood
today just got worse and worse. Don't have enough tools in the box to stop it escalating. Being at home and on my own has really starting to get to me- with autumn and winter coming on- its only going to get worse. I had some suicidal thoughts- pretty strong ones.

Reducing blood glucose very quickly? Life style change and diet. LCHF, DIP,VIP and many more diet gives information.
It appears that reducing blood glucose level very quickly can cause kidney problems!! an article in diabetes.co.uk discuss this. We do not want to go from one problem to another problem, do we?

Help me lose this 30lbs... I'm running out of will power
I am on a mission to lose 30lbs. I'm currently sitting at around 164lbs and the goal is 135lbs. I feel like I have been trying to lose this weight forever, I've been trying for a year now, and the lbs just don't seem to drop. My inches do but my weight doesn't. I'm a size 10/12 top and size 12 bottoms
