Cravings etc
I notice a few of you doing Lytham's Challenge are reporting "carb cravings" and/or some trepidation about keeping this going. I can completely understand this. Once you get into LCHF, you realise that the British food landscape is awash with carbs (and low-fat food). Supermarkets, restaurants, everywhere

Brown inhaler causing anxiety?
Hello all! In summary; I was diagnosed in July after doing monitoring my Peak Flow for a fortnight (nurse said results over 20% was an asthma diagnosis. Mine was 43%!) I do feel it's a mild case, and that perhaps it's exacerbated by disordered breathing. I digress! I've been sporadic with taking

What do I ask my GP when they call later ?
Struggling with
low
energy, hair loss,
low
mood
and disturbed sleep pattern. I started 100mcg of Levothyroxine in April when I discovered a TSH of 55.5 and T4 of 4.7. I asked for repeat bloods including T4 and I have TSH but no T4 :-(.

Blocked from return to work w/ controlled asthma?
Hi, I know many people are worried about returning to work during the current situation because they are asthmatic, but I seem to have the opposite issue - my work medical unit blocked my return because I'm asthmatic, but my asthma is totally controlled and I take one inhalation of seretide accuhaler

Low carb quiche & salad
Here is a photo of tonightās tea: The quiche is low carb/ healthy fats as the base is made from almond flour. Mix one large egg with two cups of almond flour (or ground almonds) and a pinch of salt. Roll it out and bake blind for 15-20mins (I put ceramic cooking beans on it to stop it bubbling up).

2 months pregnant - can bloating cause difficulty / straining to pee?
Hi all! I'm 2 months pregnant and since a good 3 weeks I've have this need to strain for a wee most of the times I go. Basically I have to really force and strain for anything to come out and it takes ages and I am worried I'll damage my pelvic floor if I keep at it. There is no pain whatsoever, colour

Inhalers: what to take and when!
Hi everyone! Hope you are well and staying safe! This is more an infomercial for newbies to asthma than anything else! Time Restricted eating, running and weight loss
I need to shift a few pounds, well more than a few, and am trying to do the time restricted eating, low carb diet. Only been doing for a couple of weeks but playing havoc with my running. Just too tired but still go three or four times a week but now so slow I wonder if it is worth it. Any suggestions

Clenil making cough worse
Hi everyone, newbie here! Doctor thinks I may have cough variant asthma as I have an ongoing dry cough (bark) for years now... they always put it down to allergies as my peak flow didnāt indicate asthma, anyway they have now given me Clenil with a spacer which I have religiously taken for one week twice
