Feeling down and don't know what to do
This is worsened by the fact that I haven't been given a cause for these symptoms so my
mood
is often
low
because of this. I've had numerous blood tests, an US, fibroscan, abdominal CT, endoscopy and colongoscopy. All of these clear apart from mild gastritis.

VitaminD levels & magnesium
I was just wondering if many of you have checked your Vit D levels. I assumed that taking Vitcal D for the last 6 years my levels would be good. When I’ve had bloods done they have never included Vit D. So I sent off to Medicheck and was surprised when the results came back at the low end at 60.7. So

W6R1 Weird Smell
Just got back from my W6R2 of C25K and had a weird smell in my nostrils. Googled it and it’s amonia which means I’m burning protein! I’m on a low carb diet. Any ideas of what I should eat before a run to avoid this? The run was fab though 👍🏻

Do I have hashimotos just because I have high TPO antibodies?
I just want to feel well again 🙁 My symptoms are cold all the time,
low
mood
, gaining weight and find it impossible to lose, I am tired ALL the time (my son sleeps 7-7 so its not because of him!) I have to nap every day after my lunch. I have also lost the outer 1/3 of my eyebrows.

Asthma flaring for no reason?
Hi everyone, After several false starts, I finally got my asthma under control in the autumn with twice-daily symbicort (4 puffs of the 200/6 dose) and daily montelukast (10 mg). I went from needing my reliever multiple times a day to 1-2 times a week, and in early December I managed a 21-day streak

Mystery swelling
Fast forward to now (March) my body feels healthier and I’m happier in myself (when I reacted before I would cry all the time and my
mood
was really
low
) the swelling in my face has decreased with slight redness when in heat or in the sun or on my phone but the glands in my body still swell up everyday

23 and Me...Health and Ancestry
While not LCHF, it's health related. I think most of us on the board have more interest in health than the average bear! My wife and I decided to give this a try, but it'll be a couple weeks for results. I was just interested to see if anyone one the group and tried it. The kit promises to provide

Feeling bad, peak flow gets lower each time
Hey all I've always been told to take the highest peak flow reading. However my 1st puff is always high and as it should (350), 2nd 300 and 3rd 250. After I feel awful and tight chested. Also often accompanied by a wheeze. Anyone else experience this?

Sertraline side effects and withdrawal
Hi everyone my doctor decided to put me on sertraline for
low
mood
and anxiety but I can’t cope with the side effects. I’ve only been on 25mg for 6 days and want to just stop. Will I have any withdrawal symptoms does anyone know?

So..... you have asthma!
I hope most of this is not new to most people (and so apologies for probably boring you senseless 😅). But there seem to be quite a number of people new to asthma (hi and welcome to HU!) who haven't been told the basics and for whom proper monitoring and care is not happening. Also I know of people who

A wee observation
I started a low carb Keto diet in August. Some ups and downs but I’ve lost 2 stones in weight. I’ve reduced to 7.5mg pred. It’s not been easy. But I’m starting to see my face again. However, I’ve just had a high carb weekend of excess and boy does my body know it. I’ve just spent most of the day in

Metavive dosage
I mean it works to a certain extent - my blood work looks fine (T4 top third of range and T3 top) but I’m still left with symptoms, the worst offender being hair loss, as well as
low
mood
, spots and getting cold to my bones.

Peak flow meter measurement
Hello all, I have recently buyed peak flow meter and I started to measure my peak flow in the morning, afternoon and evening before taking my therapy. I found it strange that even when I feel symptoms (chest tightness) according to my peek flow meter I am in green zone( which should be from 517-600

Thinking of going through with RAI Treatment but having doubts.
This works well most of the time but find my levels still fluctuate and I still struggle now and again with muscle weakness, bruising, brain fog and
low
mood
. I've learnt to manage these symptoms (kind of) but what I'm really struggling with is the eye puffiness I've had for nearly 2 years now.
