A wee observation

I started a low carb Keto diet in August. Some ups and downs but I’ve lost 2 stones in weight. I’ve reduced to 7.5mg pred. It’s not been easy. But I’m starting to see my face again. However, I’ve just had a high carb weekend of excess and boy does my body know it. I’ve just spent most of the day in bed. Exhausted, all of my muscles sore and feeling constricted like wearing a cage of pain from top to bottom. Feeling weak. It’s all the evidence I need that diet impacts my condition and too many carbs are a recipe for a health disaster. Sugar = Suffer.

Sometimes it is good to have a reminder why we do this. Once the body becomes used to a better way, the protest if you go off the rails, is quite clear.
