Lowered dose of T4 after overmedication and now fatigued, low mood and constipated
Hello, I posted a few days ago as I had some blood tests that showed my FT4 was 22.0 (top of the range) and FT3 was 8.0 (over range – range goes up to 6.8). I was on 175mcg levo and 25mcg T3. I lowered my dose of levo to 162.5mcg and kept my T3 at 25mcg, but I feel a huge reduction in my energy levels

Post Lap Conctraceptive
I think i have never found a suitable pill because I needed something high enough in Eostrogen that controlled the bleeding, but with that I had things like
low
-libido,
mood
swings etc. Would now be a good time to try a different pill?

AFTER ALL THIS TIME TESTED POSITIVE!
Well it has happened and both of us have tested positive for Covid last evening. We tested on Wednesday as it was 2 days since we had been with my son and grandsons (who were over from US) and family in Reading and we were clear. Yesterday afternoon my wife felt rough so tested and she was positive

Singulair - Flu Like Symptoms Side Effect
Hey All! A little bit of background on me. Early October I was infected with COVID-19, I’m 4 times vaxxed, and while it was only two days of symptoms, I ended up with SOB on day 3 which later turned into Long COVID. I was prescribed Flovent and Salbutamol by the ER Doctor, my NP then prescribed me Symbicort

If my peak flow has always been low what will spirometry reveal?
I have been referred for spirometry testing due to some symptoms which the cause is unclear (sinus polyp issues/acid reflux/chest tightening) However my peak flow has always been low. Even though I am only 5ft 1 for many years whenever I have had my peak flow tested in college lessons etc it has never

Sudden onset poorly controlled asthma
Hi, Sorry it’s a bit of a long story but I am feeling rather lost with what has happened. I was absolutely fine until November maybe odd tight chest and shortness of breath but this could have been anxiety. I am now on GINA step 4 and still poorly controlled. I am waiting to see the specialist, the

Oximeter
I have been a bit hors de combat recently, so bought myself a little oximeter, 16 pounds from amazon. I have always found the variation in my peak flows irritating, also I do not like using the peak flow when badly out of breath. So I wondered how for me personally an oximeter worked as a measure of

Food and Flare-Ups, Clinical Significance of ANA
Hi everyone, I am curious about certain foods and their connection to flare-ups. I have found that gluten, soy, dairy, and refined sugars cause a lot of problems for me. Is it common for certain foods to make symptoms worse? What foods do you find help with symptoms? My second question is about ANA

Covid and Asthma
I am on day 7 of covid. It lowers my peak flow by 30 percent or so and makes me routinely breathless. The thing that gets me is that any asthma triggers then take my breathing very quickly into dangerous territory. So I am a bit confined to no activity, very irritating.
