Hi everyone,

I have tried a LOT of different pills.. and tried the coil which caused 9 months of pain everyday. My GP fobbed off Endo, and so I went private. Had my first Lap on the 18th Jan and they found moderate Endo and managed to remove most of it.

The pill I am on now (Marvelon) was controlling my bleeding pre-surgery, but it's really affected my mood. I feel angry and snappy most of the time and it's effecting my marriage now.

I think i have never found a suitable pill because I needed something high enough in Eostrogen that controlled the bleeding, but with that I had things like low-libido, mood swings etc.

Would now be a good time to try a different pill? Has anyone found one that suits them post-lap that didnt previously? My surgeon said I could try the Mirena again but it can take 8 months to settle down and I want to start trying for a baby next year so no point going through those 8 months.

sorry very long winded but i just wanted people's thoughts before i go to my GP!
