New adult onset asthma
Hi all, I'm a man in my early 40s of normal weight and never smoked. I've just come out of hospital with what is assumed to be a severe asthma attack. I spent 10 days in respiratory ward. My o2 got down to 89% and my peak flow down below 200. It took me a long time to turn round but now back at home

Asthma Drs do they know.
Hi There are times when I can’t breath, but when I check my Sats they are between 90 and 95. But I still struggle, the hospital Dr says it can’t be bad as I am between 90 and 95. I am usually 85 up my peak flow is 250 best and 150 in the morning. I don’t know why I struggle at that No but it’s scary

First Fresh Transfer, Light Pink Spotting, Negative test, Low mood
My OTD is tomorrow, 26th, but last night I found some very light pink spotting when I went to the loo, so I tested this morning and it was sadly negative. This is my first time trying and I suppose I became overly confident that I was lucky and not struggling with the IVF process too much and got 3

How could AI help in asthma care?
Hi all! I have a question for you: as an asthma patient, how do you think AI could potentially help meet needs you have that aren't currently being met? For example, I have been reflecting on how doctors could potentially use AI to more accurately diagnose, treat, and educate patients. For me personally

respiratory medicine
I have an appointment at the hospital for respiratory medicine consultation. They have requested that I bring- peak flow diary, all medication and my asthma management plan. I have never had a peak flow diary or asthma management plan, should I have been given these by my doctor?

Fatty Liver disease and Triglyceride levels
Is it common place for people with fatty liver disease to have elevated triglyceride levels? Would you expect triglyceride levels to correlate with a fibroscan CAP score? There's also a particular type of cholesterol associated with the liver called VLDL: Is this a test that an NHS GP can do or is

T3 still low even with good T4
I still have hypo symptoms including quite bad brain fog/joint/ muscle pain/ fatigue/
low
mood
. Is 7 months long enough to assume I'm not able to convert the T4 very well? I eat Brazil nuts, am now gluten free and all my vitamins and iron are now optimal thanks to guidance on this forum.

Thyroid test result / menopause help.
I've been feeling averagely rubbish for the last 18 months or so; zero energy,
low
mood
, irritable, tearful, unable to focus, steadily gaining weight, dry, thinning hair, dry skin - the list goes on.I requested a blood test a year ago, and mentioned at the time that I wondered if my symptoms were thyroid

Still trying for a diagnosis
The GP I had at the time, pushed my list back to me without reading it and said, 'I don't need to see that - tell me about your
low
mood
.' (My only
low
mood
was due to feeling so flipping ill, but I could never get them to accept this.)

Bloods are supposedly fine, but I suspect hypothyroidism
My resting heart rate is low already at 50bpm, but decreased to 47bpm, other symptoms reappeared (feeling constipated,
low
mood
). I’ve therefore just increased my dose to 50 mcg per day, for the last two days, does this sound ok?
