Fatty Liver disease and Triglyceride levels

Is it common place for people with fatty liver disease to have elevated triglyceride levels? Would you expect triglyceride levels to correlate with a fibroscan CAP score?

There's also a particular type of cholesterol associated with the liver called VLDL:

Is this a test that an NHS GP can do or is it a specialist test?
