How do we assemble our cumulative CKD knowledge so that it's a) digestible and b) easily accessible to all?
An impossible task (especially with the HealthUnlocked format) but it seems there's great knowledge out here amongst us .. but no way to assemble it in an easily accessible place. We seem doomed to repeating ourselves and having useful information 'slip down the page' and out of view. How on earth

I've just received my latest battery of routine blood test results...all 18 of them!!.... and was very happy to see that every single result was within normal parameters and with 'no further action required' for any of them. This felt like a huge achievement, particularly as I'd recently stopped taking

Data driven fasting
https://optimisingnutrition.com/data-driven-fasting/ Hunger Training is really interesting, and might be useful for beginning fasters and those who haven't been able to make it work for them. It's basically using a blood glucose (fingerprick) meter to learn when when are really hungry and gradually

Face to Face Rheumatology Visit yesterday
I just thought I'd share my experience yesterday. I'd had a phone call with him in June and from that he ordered lots of blood tests, a chest x-ray. chest CT scan, abdo CT scan and dexascan. He stepped in the room (only just - stood in the doorway as if he wasn't staying) and introduced himself then

My Journey
I started writing this as a response to @cooper27's question about dietary advice, but it turned into nearly an essay. So I decided to make it a proper essay. _____ I have been on quite an adventure finding trusted dietary advice. I used to listen to the recognised experts until very recently

COVID and Post COVID Anxiety
Hi All, I have suffered from Generalised Anxiety and Panic Disorder for around 17 years. Hypo, anaemic or both?
I would love some advice from this group since I trust this more than the doctors I've seen!
