Gluten and soy free diet...
So I’m doing the gluten free diet and avoiding soy like the plague. I’ve downloaded the coeliac uk app but I’m confused... so the gluten free section is already ticked but then there is an section for extra gluten options and a section saying may contain cereals... do I need to tick all these extra sections

Fiberneualgia
I have found that taking low dose Naltrexone helps the pain of fiberneualgia as well as most auto immune issues. I started with 1/2 mg and slowly increased it to 4mgs. I knew I had to increase it when the pain started to return. I am also on a low carb diet, meaning I have pretty much eliminated sugar

So...
I need to lose 2/3 of my body weight. Due to pain, gym/exercise is very difficult. I also work 8am-8pm 5 days a week and do voluntary work at the weekends so when i do have time to go somewhere there's nowhere open near me, even supposing I could afford the £100/month they wanted last time I inquired

Hi I had an heart attack in May 2019 and due to conflicting diagnoses I still am having scans and various hospital visits. I was diagnosed with coeliacs disease in 2016 so have been on a gluten free diet ever since (not always very good at this) the trouble is in order to make ready made gluten free

I WAS JUST WONDERING IF A GLUTEN FREE DIET CAN MAKE MUSCLE ACHES WORSE?
HI All I found out I was hypothyroid in May with TSH at 4.24 (0.22-4.20) And TPO antibodies 105 (<115) So, I started Levo which has brought the TSH down to 2.23 , but pushed the TPO up to 275 My main symptom is muscle aches and I'm on NDT which does not seem to be helping the aches Since plenty of people

California wildfires and stress/- update
I live in Northern California and have been enduring power blackouts for weeks. Today we have the 4th blackout in 3 weeks and are being told the blackouts could go on go another month as there is no rain in the forecast. Thank goodness no fires have started near me and I haven’t had to evacuate!

Stomach pain during night
I have just started a plan to lose about a stone on LCHF. As usual I woke up at about 4 pm with burning stomach pain. It feels as if my stomach acid is burning stomach because there is little food there to line it. I did take Lansparasole a few years ago but want to avoid this because they also create

Scared of taking prednisolone
I’ve never taken steriods before and I’m terrified of taking them (had bad reaction to tablets once and it’s scared me) Asthma is normally controlled and only causes problems with triggers or colds etc. Started with a cold 7 days ago and it gave me a bad cough and wheezing. Peak flow was down from 500

Look OK but be very unwell?
Hello, Sorry to return. I have had some days of feeling quite good, odd niggles, but nothing too much. Then I have had some days of feeling awful, Yesterday was an example.......started off OK, as day wore on got terrible feelings of nausea, then the discomfort in my right side, but then gradually

Peak flow averages question.
Saw nurse this morning who told me she doesn't think I have asthma because although the preventer inhaler I was given has made my peak flows go up I get symptoms when my peak flow is above the average for my age height weight etc (450) and I don't feel I'm my normal self until I'm like 470-500. See

Anyone who cured GERD by going low carb, then was able to go back on carbs without the reflux starting again?
So I've had chronic acid reflux for three months now. 24/7, with nights being much more severe than days, but I have it also in the mornings. This started completely out of the blue, from feeling fine to suddenly having this. I speculate it have to do with being on Omeprazole for two weeks (for digestive
