Blood Test Results from GP, very ill and no diagnosis
Hello, Sorry I know some of these bloods will be irrelevant to the thyroid forum but posting just in case someone who knows better than me spots something. Background- I’ve been ill since 14, originally diagnosed with ME/CFS. Only thing that routinely showed up in tests was extremely low blood pressure

AKI ... Contrast Induced
Good morning! Can anyone tell me how long an AKI lasts and whether, after a certain length of time, it becomes Chronic Kidney Disease!? I had a heart attack 2 months ago and required Angiography & stenting. A week or so later, it was found that I had suffered an AKI due to the contrast dye used during

Asthma or something completely different? 🤔🤔
Hi. What is your opinion on this? Do you think I have Asthma or something else? 🙂 I'm 19 years old and have been significantly out of breath always, from the age of 6/7. It was not until I was about 15, that I was officially diagnosed with asthma by the gp after I had an asthma attack in the shower

Hello, I am supposed to get another scan of my thyroid in April, I had an ultrasound in January and there was a nodule so the endocrinologist wants to make sure it hasn’t grown. Anybody try LDN?
I was wondering if anyone has tried low dose naltrexone (LDN) for their PMR? My Functional Medicine GP has said that she has successfully treated many of her patients with a variety of conditions using this medication at very low doses. I am sure my Rheumatologist would not agree to prescribing since

Non celiac gluten sensitivity?
Hi everyone! I wanted to make a post asking about non celiac gluten sensitivity. I have been gluten free for many many years though not strictly eg worrying about cross contamination etc. I had been operating on the assumption I was on a completely gluten free diet for the last year since starting thyroid

Singer with Severe/Brittle Asthma (non-allergic)
Hey everyone, 24 yr old female here. I'm currently on 184/22 Relvar Ellipta and Salbutamol after trying every other inhaler available. They didn't work and made it even worse; Relvar now works but the GP says it's the strongest medication they have that works for non-allergic asthma. My triggers are:

Help and advice please.
My daughter was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis last year. We have only recently realised how serious this could be as we were given no advice or information at all. She has had a couple of really bad flare ups due to taking headache medication which we have since discovered were the cause of the flare
