Has anyone been prescribed low dose naltrexone (LDN) in the UK?

Hello fellow warriors,

I've been reading up on LDN and heard some positive reviews aswell as current clinical trials for fibromyalgia. I was wondering if anyone has managed to get a GP or private consultant to prescrible it off label? If so what are your thoughts or experiences ?

Thank you

Interested to here or see the link for any current clinical trials if you could share. It is available on private prescription and dispensed from Dickson's chemist on Glasgow all over the uk

Thanks for the info, looks promising and seems a natural way to go for people like myself who take opiods

Knew about that one but was in Denmark. Hopefully will come out with some positive follow-up to the younger pilot trials.

Not sure I would use the word natural as it is a prescribed medication 😃 stone find it works for them but others do not do much like other things.

I was on ldn for about 6/7 years and it made a big difference ,and only reason I stopped it was because I started getting side effects when I was menopausal. For me, it turned down the intensity of the lesson but didn't take it away

My daughter also tried it, but she had very little benefit

My gp wrote me a private prescription, which I got dispensed by Dicksons chemist
