Went for left to be done on 31st March, cancelled as kit wasn't all there, great so had an idea it wouldn't be done before our Benidorm holiday, I coped. I

This is some background. I was recently diagnosed with enlarged prostate. My general health is not good as I had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair and also, last year was diagnosed with Heart Failure. I’ve also got Severe Spinal Stenosis which has returned following a Failed Laminectomy Spine

Very sore shin (bone not joint)
Hi everyone, I am on holiday abroad at the moment so not in contact with any healthcare provider. I am wondering if anyone could advise me on pain I am suffering. Just before I left for holiday I suffered an agonising night of no sleep with a very sore shin. Right on the bone, not near a joint. I blamed

Supplements to reduce glutamate
I was inspired by Widebody's comments on taurine and glycine to look into supplements that reduce glutamate. I found the following on an autism website that I cannot vouch for, but here is the list: (those of us taking gabapentin, pregabalin, horizont are taking medicine that is reducing brain glutamate

Restless legs medication
I have had restless legs for many years and was taking mirtazapine but it is no longer working. I have tried pramipexole but have had awful headaches. I’m now having awful insomnia which combined with RL means I am getting 2-3 hours sleep each night. What medications have you used that have helped

Ropinirole to Pregabalin
Good Morning RLS team! :) I'm new to this group - very thankful to have found it and the fantastic information that's here. Hurrah for you! Last October I started taking Ropinirole for RLS but have decided I don't want to stay on it any further - I've augmented on that and I have edema in my arms

relieved?
I got a message from the doctor today saying my EEG was normal. I should feel relieved but I don’t. I’m happy nothing is wrong but it leaves me without any answers. What are these episodes that I have? Will they eventually get worse? What’s causing them? I didn’t think these tests would prove anything

Since my follow up with Neurologist with possible FND diagnosis, I have received an appointment to attend for a 24/48 hour HVA EEG. I’m interested to know who else may have had this procedure and what to expect. What are they investigating /eliminating ? Any positive and /or negatives to report are

Just needing a vent
I am feeling really fed up right now. I got diagnosed about 2 weeks ago with pots and then 2 days later was in hospital with kidney stones. Got released just on time to make a family trip to London so had lots of painkillers to get through it but still managed to enjoy it. I came home and went to gp

Anterior and Posterior surgery all done
Well I'm on week 3 post Op. All good. Operation went well. Ended up in theatre for 2 hours to repair bladder and bowel prolapse. I
opted not to have pelvic floor therapy or pessaries but to go straight to surgery. Best choice ever. In and out. Catheter in for one night and packing. Removed next morning

Update on rls
Hello everyone, just an update to let you know how I have been getting on since coming off the dopamine agonist. It's around 3 months now since I took my last tiny piece of pramipexole, after a pretty rough time of crawling legs, arms, shoulder shivers, I'm finally getting better!!! While coming off
