Recap on Intense pain post

I’ve had a CT in Fall of 2019 indicating a couple of bulging discs. Spinal stenosis, s curve scoliosis. I’ve tried chiropractic treatments as well as acupuncture, acupressure and meditate several times a day. I’ve been cautioned by my primary care physician who has a DO ( osteopathic medical degree). I have also had numerous steroid injections with no effect after the first one. Every cortisone injection since has been ineffective. The pain is sharp as in nerve compression that is obviously my first suspected cause. I’ve been told by medical professionals with many years of experience that these are the first course of treatment for the herniated disks. Since the diagnosis of herniated disks I’ve developed intense sharp pain beginning in my glute which continues to my posterior leg. The pain in walking causes me to yelp as if someone stabbed me. It’s nearly impossible to walk without bending over in a 90 degree angle. The Tylenol #3 was effective for the bulging discs, spinal stenosis and s curve scoliosis. Now it’s not helping with this suspected nerve pain. I’m out of options to see a doctor until next month. I feel that I can’t take this amount of pain laying in bed all day for days on a heating pad. Help!

have had a similar situation and had a lamenectomy for the stenosis which didn't work at all. Followed that by many injections which helped initially but not later. Just finished the third year of gabepentin which was changed out for pregabalin followed by Pelvic physical therapy plus massage and pain has subsided. I credit the pelvic PT as the mostveffective in getting some relief from the pain . The gabapentin and pregabalin aren't great but helped. Note also am on Celebrex in lieu of Advil . Hope this helps.

It would all be up to my doctors what I can try but thanks for the thought.
