Hi! Has anyone tried and had any luck with using those travel pressure points wristbands normally used for travel sickness? I often feel nauseous, usually for the first few hours of the day and have tried ginger, painkillers, sleep and eating with no luck!
Thanks in advance

Hello Jodie. I have just listened to a very useful programme on BBC sounds - its called Sliced Bread. If you haaven't come across this before its a radio 4 programme that sets out to find out if certain products are the best thing since sliced bread or marketing B*s. The episode was all about travel sickness remedies including tablets, patches and wristbands along with breathing techniques. However as what you are experiencing is not travel sickness the findings might not apply. You might like to consider meditation, I find it helps me - there is a free app called Smiling Minds which I have found helpful in guiding me. All the best. x
I used to live in an island off the west coast of Scotland and the ferry took up to 5 hours to get there (via other islands). I am not a good sailor and somebody recommended these wristbands. They didn’t make any difference to me although I persevered for several trips. But ginger works for me so it shows the uniqueness of the individual and maybe they will work for you. Worth a try. Good luck.
I suck 'Queasey Drops' they are my godsend, I was told about them by someone on chemotherapy. They are totally natural, not cheap, variety of flavours. I get mine on the internet xx
