Restless leg syndrome
Rls started when I was 7 months pregnant with my first child and has been rearing it’s head since 1973, 50 years. The past few months I have been taking 3gr of red vein kratom and it was helping. Lately it doesn’t seem to control it at bedtime. I spend a couple of hours exercising, stretching and

Clonazepam instead of Pregabalin?
I have just had a telephone appointment with a Neurologist which lasted all of 90 seconds, part of which he spent looking through my notes and came to the conclusion that I should try Clonazepam instead of Pregabalin for 6 months. He wasn't interested in listening to anything I had to say about iron

RA or fibromyalgia
I’ve good
pain
in the muscles in one
leg
. It’s weak and my hip is painful as is my knee and ankle. I’ve been on methotrexate for 4 months. Diagnosed 6 months ago. But I now think I have had RA for 4-5 years. My leg was the same 3 years ago and I have used a stick to help.

Re - chemo cocktail, Caelyx and Yondelis.
Good morning , After 5 lines of chemo my doctor has come up with this new regime - 6 x 3 weekly sessions if it proves to be working and if I can cope. I finished the 5th line just over 3 months ago. I’ve had Caelyx before but I’ve never heard of Yondelis. Has any one on this forum had any experience

Why did my endometriosis pain get worse after taking progesterone birth control bills?
After I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, I have tried taking 2 different birth control bills (both of them are progesterone based and were prescribed by doctors). The first bill I took for 3 months and it did not help at all, it actually gave me weak pain from time to time which was not normal

Trouble transitioning to Gabapentin
Due to augmentation, I switched from Ropinirole to Gabapentin about 6 weeks ago. I did it in about a month (a bit too quick, I realize now, and suffered because of it), so I've been off Ropinirole for over two weeks. Unfortunately, Gabapentin has yet to do anything for me. I'm up to 900 miligrams a day

1 year on from heart attack and stent fitted. Still struggling.
I woke up with severe
pain
, and cramping in my left
leg
. Is anyone else experiencing this symptom, where one is left shattered out of breath for walking a short way? I don't have a cardio appointment scheduled, and have only seen one bloke 8 months ago, and nothing since.

insomnia in middle of night
my husband is weaning down. His ropinirole from eight mg. He is currently on 6 1/2 mg and just has a slight amount of RLS coming through mostly around 10 o’clock at night. The worst part is he wakes up at 3 o’clock in the morning and cannot get back to sleep, he does not have a RLS at that time just

Heel pain?
I'm in week 8 of C25k and am experiencing some heel
pain
on one side, and stiffness in that lower
leg
in the mornings. I don't think it's the tendon, but lower down on the hard bony bit, on the inside of the foot.; it's a little bit puffy, and tender to the touch.

not sure what the problem is!
Problem is that about 1 in 8 runs I get severe
leg
pain
. Not sure if its cramp, pulled muscle or tendon. I try to stretch well before the run, and drink water. It's very unnerving not knowing if it's going to come on, or not. It happens only after about 6-10 minutes into the run.

Ongoing Headaches/anxiety
Hey all, I have had Hippocampal Sclerosis since the age of 8 months and am now 41. I had surgery in 2017 to eradicate my seizures which were occurring on average 3 times a week. Since the operation, I have only had one due to being trialed off medication. Apart from escaping the ongoing seizures,

I've OHS in 10 days - tips and must haves?
Hello everyone, So, after the very unexpected heart attack (clot passing through the hole in my heart) 3 weeks ago, all of a sudden I have the date for my OHS to close the ASD (and maybe repair the stretched valves too). It's planned for 14 April. 10 days' time. I feel woefully unprepared. I need to

Fatty pad atrophy (ball of foot)
Hello, I am hoping there might be someone here who has experience of coping with fatty pad atrophy. I have recently been told by a podiatrist that this is the cause of the pain in the balls of my feet. I feel like I'm walking on my bones and have nerve pain due to the reduction in the fatty pad.
