Nerve pain in."girdle" area...started as shocks now constant severe pain.
It started because of
pain
in my left
leg
, mid-calf. Rheumy nurse said it was due to newly diagnosed venous stasis; cardiologist said no it doesn't cause pain. Anyway things just got worse...need wheelchairs at doctor offices (the only place I go). It is hard to do things in the house.

Bilateral rotary cuff in shoulders after coming off pred....
After 3.5 years tapering pred I have been left with bilateral rotary cuff which is excruciating. I have had it a year now and finally have an MRI Monday. Apart from an ultra sound scan which confirmed it I have been taking anti inflammatory meds (Nurofen/ Naproxen) and exercising. It has not got any

pregabelin side effects
I explained to my dr that sertraline had caused my restless leg to return. Previously it was under control with iron. She put me on a low dose of pregabelin, 25mg to take at night and continue with sertraline in the morning. The first night was ok…ish. I did sleep much better. but the second night

A little patience
After suffering from a bought of what seemed like sciatica, I woke this morning with no
pain
, no weakness in my left
leg
and feeling quite chipper if I'm honest. I headed downstairs and through on the shorts, chest strap/HR monitor, t-shirt and shoes and jumped on the treadmill.

Back to square one but grateful
Hello friends, having already reported that I’d attempted to reduce my Ropinirole medication prior to my visit to see the GP one back on 6mg tablets spread throughout the day and night, Sue agreed that it was probably the best course of action and I’m again getting some much needed sleep and the pains

Today I feel great!
Yesterday I had some minor surgery but under general anaesthetic. I don’t know if it is the anaesthetic, the oramorph glug I had post op or the day of complete rest, but today, I feel like I did before FMS, RLS and PLMD came to stay! I even slept completely between wee breaks! Long may it last!!!

Endometriosis & Ankylosing Spondylitis
Just wondering if anyone else has also been diagnosed with both conditions ? It took a long time to get both diagnosis and after many years of pain killers and excision surgery for DIE including bowel resection, I’m just about to start biological medication for the AS and was wondering if anyone else

ropinirole
I have been taking ropinirole for more than 40 years. 1 mg at night. It works for me but now I am terrified because apparently it has been withdrawn and I can’t get it in any of the farmacias in the Valencia region. I tried gabapentin - no effect at wll. I gave just been prescribed pregabalin and didn

Gynaecological / pelvic exam pain ?
I have a gynaecological exam coming up but I also have likely pudendal neuralgia and do have vulvodynia so I’m terrified that this is going to hurt terribly. Are there anyone who is willing to let me know if I should be as fearful of pain as I am? Should I take extra pain medication?

what’s going on?
After a week or so the
pain
in my
leg
stopped and I just ached. At the same time sold the family home disposing of much loved heirlooms (his description) or a load of junk ( my description) packed my bucket and spade and came to Barbados for some much needed sun.
