Trying Fluoxetine(Prozac) for Raynauds
I was recently diagnosed with limited systemic sclerosis with secondary Raynauds. Honestly, the Raynauds and hand swelling has been the worst ongoing symptoms that I've had. Getting muscle and joint pain, fatigue under control with Celebrex, Plaquenil, and low dose naltrexone. I also take a lot of vitamins

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Ketogenic Diet
A. Summary. A ketogenic diet is a very low carbohydrate diet. It is not a high protein diet, so is necessarily a high fat diet. The metabolic syndrome [Mets] increases the risk for cardiovascular disease [CVD], diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease [NAFLD] & prostate cancer (PCa). A lower carbohydrate

Days are good but night sweats and restless, poor sleep.
Hi everyone, I started swapping over to ndt some weeks ago. I have struggled to raise my dosage (first 2 days fantastic then went into terrible palpitations and anxiety and had to begin again at 1/4 grain) as I did when I first started taking t4 so after reading about the importance of iron I started

Recent blood test results?
Just checking if SLE can be the cause of low HDL cholesterol and RDW? I've never had a problem with cholesterol and noticed my HDL should be 1.3 mmol/L and it's 0.99. And my RDW is 12.1 (12.2-15.4). I'm usually low on ferritin but all other tests are fine and I do supplement and have for the last

Erectile dysfunction and the risk of prostate cancer.
New study below [1]. I usually post in the Advanced Prostate Cancer group, but this new study might be more helpful here. Over the past 13 years, I have become convinced that PCa is a metabolic disease. Men with PCa have a greater risk of cardiovascular disease & are likely to have some of the symptoms

B12, overnight hair graying
I am 29 years old and I have been suffering from B12 deficiency since April 2016. My health was very bad at that time and I could not identify what it was. Initially, I thought the health issue was due to the kind of office work and lack of physical exercises. I am a software engineer and work 8 to 18

Euthyroid Achievement Possible With Once-Weekly L-Thyroxine Most patients normalized thyroid function with 12 weeks of higher dose
[i]Significant differences were also reported for
LDL
and triglyceride levels among groups 2 and 3. However, the authors added that some literature has linked higher FT4 levels with increased risk of sudden cardiac death, and recommend future studies on one-weekly dosing measure cardiac safety.

We would be less concerned about
LDL
-cholesterol if it were all carried by the larger particles, but the small VLDL fraction of
LDL
allows the cholesterol to be carried to places where you don’t want it to go, such as into arterial walls.

Little improvements!
So I've been taking rosuvastatin g for 3 months now despite the muscle pain/crazy dreams/aching arms shoulders and respected cramps and have just had my bloods tested again. Total chol gone down from 6.7 to 5.3, hdl gone up from 1.68 to 1.89 (highest it's ever been) and lol reduced from4.68 to 3.07.
