New blood analysis
I have following values: cholesterol
LDL
: 142 and upper limit is 100, triglyceride: 166 and upper limit is 150. Taking in account these values, which are closer to max values, I will continue with my food regime and also with remeron (if the values were high then I should replace remeron)

DIO2 gene test advice regarding T4/T3 levels
My latest cholesterol results are Serum 7.5, HDL 2.2,
LDL
5.3 and ratio 3.4. Would the addition of synthetic T3 help reduce my cholesterol level down ? Are my current T4/T3 levels acceptable or would it be a good idea to take the gene test?

Good times in a crazy world
Last year at this time I thought that MY world had collapsed. One year later, the Whole World is collapsing, showing us all that live is unpredictable, and needs to be enjoyed in full every day that we are here. Continuing from my previous post, we had a fantastic December Holiday at the Beach. The children

LDN causing Dystonia or neck jerking?
A neurologist recently thought that I had a motor tic in the back of my neck that keeps me jerking my head forward. After readingn some research I think maybe I have some form of dystonia. I seem to jerk it very hard to the point in the middle of the day it's just hurting and I do it every day. Anyways

Reducing LDL Cholesterol Reduces Cardiovascular Risk
This report in the Lancet found that reducing
LDL
reduces CV risk. A reduction of 1.0 equates to a near 20% reduction regardless of other conditions like diabetes and kidney disease. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/landia/article/PIIS2213-8587(19)30388-2/fulltext

LDH jump in CLL
Hi all. My 65 year old mom has CLL (trisomy 12), and has been on Imbruvica for about a year now. Her LDH level at diagnosis was 427 (Normal is 84-246). She has steadily declined, and over the past several months has been maintaining in the 180's/190's. Today she was 242. This is a 62 point jump since

Low dose naltrexone (LDN) effective for my severe systemic rheumatoid disease (RD)
I am currently celebrating 4+ years of effective use of LDN for RD. I have written extensively of my journey, including blood work, sx, dose/titration, other conditions, etc, and don't want to repeat it here. I just want to start a new thread because the initial posts come up so low on any search.

Low Dose Naltrexone for Depression?
Has anyone here ever tried LDN (low dose naltrexone)? Did you find it helpful? How can one find out if they are deficient in endorphins? You can also take a look here at this interesting and informative article: https://medium.com/@hablerannie/breaking-the-stigma-of-depression-with-ldn-7c5a7ba8ba0e

Low Dose Naltrexone for ADHD?
I am just wondering if anyone here is familiar with or has possibly tried low dose naltrexone and if it helped to relieve their ADHD? I recently read a patient interview where a woman found it very effective and I've heard from several other people that they were also prescribed it. (https://www.ldnscience.org
