Update on LDN
A while back I posted that I would be trying low-dose naltrexone and would report the results. Here is an update after one month of LDN. I began taking 1.1mg of LDN in addition to my regular dose of prednisone. I had just tapered slowly to 12 1/2mg, taking 5mg at 2 AM. After a week I noticed no effect

Statin Chest Pain
The statin was started as my cholesterol was high ;always has been and
LDL
was well over 3 mmol/l. I started a lower fat diet some time ago and am wondering if I should stop the statin for a period of time to see if chest pain (tender and painful to prod btw when it happens) goes away?

LDH Levels
I'm going on three weeks with Pegasys (90mcg once per week) and still taking two pills of Hydrea as well as an aspirin per day. My platelets continue to go down and are at 780,000 as if yesterday. However my LDH level is at 359 which is concerning me. Could this be a result of the two medications or

BMB in Two Days
I have my bmb scheduled for two days from now. My anxiety is "through the roof". I believe my hematologist originally thought I have ET. I am Calr 1 positive. However, her notes after the last visit state that the results of my bloodwork/tests are "consistent with an MPN, either ET or pre-pmf. Overt

I would like to connect with fellow warriors that are HSPC and on Darolutamide to discuss Time to Failure, early detection assays etc...
Hello fellow warriors, Is there any other warriors that are still hormone sensitive and taking darolutamide? Are there any HSPC taking it without docetaxel. Trying to find data on length before drug failure? I have been on it for 6 months now. I have been interested in early detection strategies for

Clarification on ALP and LDH markers
I was wondering if anyone can fill me in on Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) changes with second time docetaxel treatment. What do these values help indicate and is it normal to have them higher after one dose of chemo? I figure it takes a while for the chemo to have time to

Waiting for diagnosis: ET or Pre-pmf
Hi there. This is my first post as I have yet to receive a firm diagnosis. I am a 71 year old woman who has been healthy all her life. In September a routine blood test revealed high platelets. Fast forward and now I am under the care of an mph specialist at a large regional medical/teaching facility
